Instead of a conventionally bent or even milled clip, you get a clip produced using MIM technology (Metal Injection Molding). While this process itself isn’t new, it still plays only a minor role in modern knife production. A short excursion into the world of metal processing Metal Injection Molding (MIM) is a process used to produce very small and complex metal parts – similar to plastic injection molding, but with metal. In this case, fine titanium powder is mixed with a binder (usually made of wax and polymer) until it forms a viscous mass.
