This coin is not just a coin. The Raven Coin tells a story of dedication, quality and a relentless pursuit of perfection. This is the story of Sam, aka Raven the Pirate. Together with Urban EDC Supply, Sam has managed to implement a project completely according to his own ideas.With a diameter of 3.8 cm and a thickness of 2.5 mm, this coin is presented in a noble matt black zinc alloy, which is perfectly complemented by hard-applied gold accents. The interplay of colors and materials gives it an impressive, timeless aesthetic.The road to the perfect coin was difficult. It took over two years from the initial idea to final completion. The reason? Sam's uncompromising demand for quality. It took several changes of the manufacturer to implement his vision exactly as it was conceived. For example, over 30% of the coins had to be remade to meet Sam's expectations.But the global challenges of our time are also part of the story: the final manufacturer was hit during an extremely severe hurricane in Florida and had to rebuild his shop from scratch, which again led to considerable delays.The central point of the Raven the Pirate coin is the saying: “Life is fleeting. Catch it and cherish it forever."The stylized lens of a camera adorns the surface below – a romantic homage to Sam's love of photography and its ability to capture fleeting moments for eternity. To commemorate these efforts, the Viking Traveler Coin features a Viking embossed design showing Odin on his eight-legged horse Sleipnir, accompanied by his spear Gungnir and the two ravens Huginn and Muninn.       On the other side is the Nordic Vegvisir, which shows you the way through the worst weather and the harshest conditions. Carpe Diem EDC "Carpe Diem" Coin  "When I designed my Original Carpe Diem Coin, I wanted a challenge coin that could be carried and given away to friends and family, that would remind the holder that time is fleeting, that death waits at the end for all of us, and that it is important to make the most of every day."   Jim Wirth, founder of Carpe Diem EDC The skull on the face of the coin symobolizes death.The gear wheel on the stin of the skull is found in all mechanical watches and is a symbol of the passing of time. "Time passes" or "time flies" became more of a reality each day as Jim himself approached the age of 50."Death Waits" was his very real, if somber, reminder that at the end of all our days of life, there is only the certainty of death. On the back side of his original Carpe Diem coin was a simple message, "Carpe Diem," meaning "Seize the day" and "Make your life extraordinary." Make the most of every day you have! Work hard but also celebrate well. Do good for others who are not as fortunate as you. Be present in the lives of friends and family. For the text on the coins, Jim chose Latin: "TEMPUS FUGIT" for "Time Passes" and "MEMENTO MORI" for "Remember Death." The reverse shows a "Tree of Life" with the words "CARPE DIEM" for "Seize the Day." Surrounding the tree of life are the words "FAC VITAM INCREDIBILEM" for "Make an incredible life for yourself" and "MEMENTO VIVERE" for "Remember to live". GiantMouse Shank Sharpeners Union 2021 Coin - Europe Chapter classy EDC coin for the Shank Sharpeners Union a design of the Altonaer Silber Werkstatt and Paul Berndt 39 mm in diameter  This Europe Chapter Coin from GiantMouse is available in Europe exclusively from us. What we love most about this coin is the symbolic meaning. GiantMouse use it to remind us of their roots, which, like part of the inhabitants of the USA, historically lie in Europe. But the coin also represents the worldwide cohesion of the large community that is quite closely associated with the brand. The Shank Sharpeners Union (SSU) is not just a loose bunch of knife fans. There is a great sense of solidarity within the union and if one of the members has a question or even a problem, others are immediately on hand to help. It is a great honor that we were the first to design a coin in the spirit of this community. To do justice to the name of the Europe Chapter Coin, the coin was therefore not designed in the USA, but in the middle of Europe, more precisely in Kiel. Paul Berndt is now a well-known face in the SSU and has earned a first-class reputation in the EDC scene for his great designs.
