Every gram counts only 70 grams light good grip Deep-carry clip Spyderco have added a popular model to their ultra-lightweight range with the Para 3 Lightweight. The already brilliant Para 3 has been put on a radical diet - with phenomenal results. The new Lightweight version with the slightly rounded handle, is fantastic in the hand. With its sensational 70 grams, you can carry it in your pocket almost unnoticed. The handle scales in this version are made of the lightweight FRN plastic (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) that Spyderco has been using for a long time. This material is very robust and offers an extremely good grip. So you can work with the knife even with wet hands safely and accurately, without the one the Para 3 to slip. For the blade, the manufacturer from Colorado relies on the CTS BD1N steel, which is also used for example in the UKPK. This nitrogen-alloyed steel offers excellent prerequisites for a good all-round steel. On the one hand, it takes on enormous sharpness and can still be resharpened easily. In addition, this alloy is absolutely insensitive to rust. As with the normal Para 3, the popular Compression Lock is used to lock the blade, which can be easily and safely operated via the back of the blade. Together with the deep-carry clip, you have a knife here that exudes a real tool character and simply wants to be used. The light weight, versatile steel and fantastic hand placement make this cutting tool a real workhorse. So out of the cabinet and into life.

GiantMouse ACE Corta - Green Canvas Micarta ACE version of the limited GM6 blade made of M390 with a stonewashed blade finish powerful flipper mechanism (flips like hell) clip convertible The new, small, big mouse After the limited GM6 was already quite a hit, the Corta is now the series version. Here you don't just get a slimmed down GM6, but a completely independent pocket knife with a clear design model. Unlike the very compact GM6, the Corta was designed to be minimally larger and offer a more universal hand position. The two indicated handle recesses ensure that you always retain as much control as possible over the knife when carving, for example. The flat grind, which is raised almost to the back of the blade, is, thanks to the thin cutting bevel, a real ! The small Flippertab then provides the necessary fun: the blade of the Corta fires thanks to the built-in ball bearings only so from the handle! For the handle material you have the choice between green or natural Micarta. There is also a very cool all-black version with PVD finish on the blade and black G10 handle scales. A solid brass backspacer provides a nice visual contrast and improved hand grip. The whole thing is rounded off by a convertible wire clip - of course Deep Carry! By the way, this model is manufactured by Reate, which speaks for the highest quality workmanship!

Viper Orso2 Green Micarta Jens Anso Design LO-QPM20-4 blade Stonewashed blade finish Micarta handle Whats new? How do you make an already great knife even better? You revisit the design, change a few key areas, but don't change the basic DNA of the knife. That's exactly what Jens Anso did with the Orso 2. This version of the already great Orso design has been improved a bit in a few places. Instead of a linerlock, a framelock is now used. This is of course equipped with a combined steel insert / overtravel stop. On the one hand, this prevents wear and on the other hand, you can't accidentally overstretch the lockbar. The handle scales of the Orso 2 are of course milled from solid titanium. Thanks to the contoured edges, the knife lies very comfortably in the hand. The show side of this version is made of green micarta Another innovation can be found in the steel: Viper uses the LO-QPM 20-4 steel for the first time on the Orso 2. This is an alloy produced by Lohmann in Germany that is almost identical to the popular M390 steel. Here you get a very rust resistant blade that holds sharpness for a very long time, so you can work with it for a long time without worry. Typical of Jens Anso's design is the continuous, flowing line of the knife. If you open the blade with the small flipper tab, you get a continuous line that just looks beautiful. Thanks to the built-in ball bearings, the knife also provides a lot of fun. The small details typical of Jens Anso provide a visual highlight: the 3D milled clip, the filigree backspacer, as well as the small collar around the pivot screw, round off the Orso 2 visually wonderful.

Sebenza 31 Lefthand available in Large or Small Reeve Integral Lock with ceramic ball on the lockbar Blade steel: CPM S35 VN Clip Design: Off-set (on the 31 the clip is now diagonal and no longer straight) Actually, the Large Sebenza 31 should be available from the end of October. Unfortunately the delivery is delayed. Chris Reeve is so busy that they are behind schedule. I'm afraid we won't get the Sebenza 31 until 2020. :( When the end of the Sebenza 21 was proclaimed in June 2019 and its successor, the Sebenza 31, was introduced, this news went through the knife scene like a drumbeat. After all, new introductions of the manufacturer from Idaho are already very rare. Fortunately, Chris Reeve Knives have improved their recipe for success all in all only minimally but in crucial places, so that one can justifiably continue to speak of a Sebenza in the new 31 model. First of all, the hole on the presentation side of the knife is now gone - something that many Reeve fans have long wished for. The slightly changed angle of the pocket clip, which now no longer presses on the lockbar, is also quickly noticeable to the trained eye. Less obvious, however, is the revised lock of the Sebenza 31. Just as with the Umnumzaan or the Inkosi, a ceramic ball embedded in the lockbar now presses against the blade root. The hardness of this ball is in a barely measurable range, which prevents long-term wear at the contact point of the lockbar. In order to improve the hand position of the Sebenza a bit, the grip recess on the front side was ground a bit differently. All in all, we can say: yes, the new model rightly bears the venerable name Sebenza and can easily tie in with the popular 21 series. Spyderco Para 3 all black CPM S45VN steel with DLC coating Smaller version of the iconic Paramilitary 2 Compression Lock A faithful companionMost major knife manufacturers have developed their classics over the years, which are simply indispensable from the program. Spyderco's Para Military 2 is one of them, along with several other models. But for some, this folding knife is a bit too big for everyday use, especially since there is a legal regulation in some US states that only allows blades up to a length of 3 inches. Spyderco have therefore put the PM2 on a diet and the result can now be admired in the form of the Para 3. Well, it's not quite that simple - after all, the Para 3 is much more than just a shrunken version of the classic.Despite the significantly smaller dimensions, the Para 3 also feels absolutely fantastic in the hand, especially when you use the finger choil at the base of the blade. This indentation allows one to guide the knife very close to the cutting edge and thus be able to transfer a lot of force to the cutting motion. The Compression Lock, which at first glance looks like a liner lock attached to the back, provides maximum security through its locking technology, which is due to the fact that here (unlike the liner lock) a part of the plate is pushed between the blade root and the stop pin. So to destroy the lock, the vertically positioned liner would have to be crushed between the blade and the pin, which is virtually impossible. The fully raised flat grind of the blade, which is made of CPM S45VN steel, ensures optimal cutting performance and the fine tapered tip also allows for the most precise work. The blade length of exactly 3inches (hence the name of the knife) is still long enough to handle the vast majority of everyday cutting tasks with ease, yet still makes for a much more compact overall package compared to the Para Military 2. Together with the large lanyard hole and the reversible poket clip (making the knife perfectly suitable for left-handers), you get a really robust yet handy pocket knife with the Para 3, which proves to be an absolutely faithful companion in everyday life.

An EDC knife can be useful in a variety of situations. Whether you need it to open packages, cut ropes, or find your way during an outdoor trip – the possibilities are virtually limitless. Especially in emergency situations, a good everyday carry knife can provide valuable service. For hobby craftsmen or outdoor enthusiasts, such a knife is indispensable. Here are some examples of where your EDC knife can be used:
When buying an EDC knife, you should consider certain features to find the perfect knife for your needs. In addition to the materials used and the blade length, the design also plays a major role. Many models are equipped with ergonomic handles that ensure safe and comfortable handling. Another aspect to consider when buying is the weight of the knife. A knife that is too heavy can be impractical, while a model that is too light might not provide enough stability.
Additionally, the size of the knife and the type of blade lock are important. If you have large hands, a knife with a bulkier handle may provide better handling. For pocket knives, the type of lock is crucial – for example, a framelock offers more stability than a slipjoint pocket knife.
Our tip: Pocket knives are also well-suited for everyday use and provide great assistance in many situations. In our shop, we offer a wide range of pocket knives in various designs from different manufacturers.
When choosing your EDC knife, you should be aware of the carrying restrictions in Germany. According to the Weapons Act (WaffG) § 42a, there is a prohibition on carrying certain items. This includes, among other things, knives with lockable blades that can be operated with one hand or fixed knives with a blade length over 12 cm. We have summarized all the information on the topic "What does §42a-compliant mean" on our website.
