GiantMouse ACE Clyde Natural Micarta Ansø and Voxnaes Design Elmax steel Bronze Washer Clyde? Who is Clyde? With this knife, GiantMouse presents a really incredibly striking-looking model on which the two designers Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes have worked for a really long time. Here, the most diverse influences flow together, which unite in a successful design. In addition to borrowings from European knives, you will also find elements of Japanese and Arabian blades, which give Clyde a unique appearance. The handle is with equipped with natural brown Micarta scales and a black backspacer/thumb pin, which gives the knife a certain old-school charm and looks simply fabulous. The shape of the handle may remind you a bit of the classic Scandinavian Pukkos, but without copying them. The slightly sloping shape towards the back offers a great hand position, which makes this compact pocket knife very universal. Thanks to the generous recess in the handle, the liner lock is easy to unlock and very easy to use. The saber-ground blade has a nice upward sweep and is slightly reminiscent of a Persian-style blade. The steel used here is Elmax steel from Böhler, which is not only very cut-resistant, but also extremely insensitive to rust. This means that you can also process food without any problems, for example. To round off the overall package, Clyde was equipped with a deep-carry clip, so that the knife inconspicuously takes its place in your jeans. Basically, only one question remains: when is Bonnie coming?

GiantMouse ACE Corta - Natural Canvas Micarta ACE version of the limited GM6 blade made of M390 with a Satin blade finish powerful flipper mechanism (flips like hell) clip convertible The new, small, big mouse After the limited GM6 was already quite a hit, the Corta is now the series version. Here you don't just get a slimmed down GM6, but a completely independent pocket knife with a clear design model. Unlike the very compact GM6, the Corta was designed to be minimally larger and offer a more universal hand position. The two indicated handle recesses ensure that you always retain as much control as possible over the knife when carving, for example. The flat grind, which is raised almost to the back of the blade, is, thanks to the thin cutting bevel, a real ! The small Flippertab then provides the necessary fun: the blade of the Corta fires thanks to the built-in ball bearings only so from the handle! For the handle material you have the choice between green or natural Micarta. There is also a very cool all-black version with PVD finish on the blade and black G10 handle scales. A solid brass backspacer provides a nice visual contrast and improved hand grip. The whole thing is rounded off by a convertible wire clip - of course Deep Carry! By the way, this model is manufactured by Reate, which speaks for the highest quality workmanship!

Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight CPM-SPY27 Ultralight 70 grams Steel specially developed for Spyderco: CPM-SPY 27 Dark blue FRN handle scales A faithful companionMost major knife manufacturers have developed their classics over the years, which are simply indispensable from the program. Spyderco's Para Military 2 is one of them, along with several other models. But for some, this folding knife is a bit too big for everyday use, especially since there is a legal regulation in some US states that only allows blades up to a length of 3 inches. Spyderco have therefore put the PM2 on a diet and the result can now be admired in the form of the Para 3. Well, it's not quite that simple - after all, the Para 3 is much more than just a shrunken version of the classic.Despite the significantly smaller dimensions, the Para 3 also feels absolutely fantastic in the hand, especially when you use the finger choil at the base of the blade. This indentation allows one to guide the knife very close to the cutting edge and thus be able to transfer a lot of force to the cutting motion. The Compression Lock, which at first glance looks like a liner lock attached to the back, provides maximum security through its locking technology, which is due to the fact that here (unlike the liner lock) a part of the plate is pushed between the blade root and the stop pin. To destroy the lock, the vertically positioned liner would have to be crushed between the blade and the pin, which is virtually impossible. Lightweight Spyderco have added a popular model to their ultra-lightweight line with the Para-3-Lightweight. The already brilliant Para 3 has been put on a radical diet - with phenomenal results. The new Lightweight version with the slightly rounded handle, is fantastic in the hand. With its sensational 70 grams, you can carry it in your pocket almost unnoticed. The handle scales in this version are made of the lightweight FRN plastic (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) that Spyderco has been using for a long time. This material is very robust and offers an extremely good grip. So you can work safely and precisely with the knife even with wet hands, without the threat of slipping the Para 3. The CPM-SPY 27 Working closely with Crucible® Industries, Spyderco developed the CPM SPY27, a particle metallurgy stainless steel that contains a proprietary blend of alloys including vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, nitrogen and cobalt. This remarkable composition, enhanced by the reinforcing effect of cobalt and the state-of-the-art crucible particle metallurgy process, is made exclusively for Spyderco. This pimped version of the popular Para 3 Lightweight improves on all the proven features of the standard version with its high performance CPM SPY27 blade. Together with the large lanyard hole and the double-sided convertible Poketclip (the knife is thus also perfectly suitable for left-handers) you get with the Para 3 a really robust and yet handy pocket knife, which proves to be an absolutely faithful companion in everyday life.

Giantmouse ACE Riv Blackout Titanium Framelock Brass handle M390 Made by Reate Little mouse With the Riv, GiantMouse present a model that fans of somewhat more compact knives in particular have long been waiting for. What may look like a Biblio washed too hot at first glance is actually much more. Visually, the Riv is clearly reminiscent of its big brother at first, but it also fulfills the long-held desire of many fans of Jesper Voxnaes to get a high-end version of the CRKT Pilar - there is a certain similarity here as well. The basic idea behind the Riv was to offer a pocket knife that is small enough to really carry with you wherever you go. Despite the compact dimensions, however, the knife should still be a full-fledged cutting tool that can be used properly. The handle of the Riv is designed as a framelock, and it's no surprise that an exceedingly good-looking and popular combination of materials is used here in the form of titanium and micarta. To prevent wear in the lock, the lockbar was provided with a stainless steel insert, which also serves as an internal overtravel guard, so that the lock can not be accidentally overstretched when opening. Typical for GiantMouse is the curved wire clip, which allows the knife to disappear deep and barely visible in the pocket. For the blade, the manufacturer once again relies on the proven CPM-20CV steel from Böhler, which provides excellent cutting performance and is extremely resistant to rust and corrosion and with its stonewash finish gives a great image. The knife is opened either via the thumb hole or the small flipper tab, which allows the ball-bearing blade to shoot out of the hilt. Like all GiantMouse knives, the Riv was named after a special place. After boss and founder of the brand, Jim Wirth, moved from California to East Lansing/ Michigan in 2020, he remembered a small pub he had visited often as a student at Michigan State University: The Riv. That pub still exists today and will be the breeding ground for many imaginative evenings together for Wirth, Ansø and Voxnaes in the future. Like the GiantMouse Sonoma, the Riv is entirely manufactured by Reate.

Spyderco McBee Jonathan McNees Design CTS-XHP steel Titanium Framelock Bee buzzing around The Spyderco McBee (designed by Jonathan McNee) polarizes without a doubt. Even we in the team don't agree whether this little stinger is one of the most ingenious EDC knives ever or whether we are dealing with the "Fiat Multipla" of the knife scene. Whether you like this little stinger or not, it remains to be said that the McBee is incredibly well made and designed. The short blade, somewhat reminiscent of a Wharncliff shape, is made of the extremely cut-resistant CTS-XHP steel. This is not completely stainless; the blade should therefore be cleaned with a little oil every now and then. Good ergonomics are ensured by the generous recess on the back of the blade, which offers sufficient space for placing the index finger. This allows extremely precise cuts to be made with complete ease. The handle of the McBee is completely milled from titanium and designed as a framelock. A real eye-catcher is the hammer finish on the lockbar cutout and on the axle screw. Here you can see that Spyderco still go to the last detail even on such a small knife. At only 48gr, the McBee is absolutely predestined to travel with you as a faithful companion in the fifth pocket of your jeans. Thanks to the clip, the knife sits securely and tightly on the hem of the pants. Sure - a log batonieren or a piece of game supply one would not expect such a small knife. But if you're looking for a small box cutter, a sturdy backup knife or simply a cool EDC item, the McBee is right up front.

Sebenza 31 available in Large or Small Reeve Integral Lock with ceramic ball on lockbar Blade steel: CMP S35 VN Clip Design: Off-set (on the 31 the clip now sits diagonally and no longer straight) Actually, the Large Sebenza 31 should be available from the end of October. Unfortunately the delivery is delayed. Chris Reeve is so busy that they are behind schedule. I'm afraid we won't get the Sebenza 31 until 2020. :( When the end of the Sebenza 21 was proclaimed in June 2019 and its successor, the Sebenza 31, was introduced, this news went through the knife scene like a drumbeat. After all, new introductions of the manufacturer from Idaho are already very rare. Fortunately, Chris Reeve Knives have improved their recipe for success all in all only minimally but in crucial places, so that one can justifiably continue to speak of a Sebenza in the new 31 model. First of all, the hole on the presentation side of the knife is now gone - something that many Reeve fans have long wished for. The slightly changed angle of the pocket clip, which now no longer presses on the lockbar, is also quickly noticeable to the trained eye. Less obvious, however, is the revised lock of the Sebenza 31. Just as with the Umnumzaan or the Inkosi, a ceramic ball embedded in the lockbar now presses against the blade root. The hardness of this ball is in a barely measurable range, which prevents long-term wear at the contact point of the lockbar. In order to improve the hand position of the Sebenza a bit, the grip recess on the front side was ground a bit differently. All in all, we can say: yes, the new model rightly bears the venerable name Sebenza and can easily tie in with the popular 21 series. Small or Large? Just like the predecessor model, both sizes are still available. While the large Sebenza 31 is a truly full-blown work knife, the Small Sebenza remains the king of EDC pocket knives - the hand position continues to be great on the successor model. All of the features mentioned above can also be found in this smaller version of the Sebenza 31 - just in a slightly more compact and pocket-friendly form. MKM Goccia bronze anodized Titanium Jens Anso Design M390 steel including Cordura sheath with zipper and belt loop Pure elegance Come on, you've already guessed the designer of this knife, right? Right, behind the design of the Goccia is, of course, Jens Anso. The line of this noble folding knife is clearly reminiscent of the legendary Neo - except that you don't have to sell a kidney here. The Goccia exudes a certain calmness and elegance, which is mainly due to the continuous swing and the organic lines. The flipper tab fits casually and harmoniously into the design, but together with the ball bearings it also provides a lot of fun. Other than that, all that remains to be said is: M390 steel, deep carry clip, Titanium handle scales, Anso design. What else to want here?

Our tip: In our blog post Everyday Carry, you’ll find everything you need to know about this exciting topic and the many benefits your own EDC kit can offer.
An EDC knife can be useful in a variety of situations. Whether you need it to open packages, cut ropes, or find your way during an outdoor trip – the possibilities are virtually limitless. Especially in emergency situations, a good everyday carry knife can provide valuable service. For hobby craftsmen or outdoor enthusiasts, such a knife is indispensable. Here are some examples of where your EDC knife can be used:
When buying an EDC knife, you should consider certain features to find the perfect knife for your needs. In addition to the materials used and the blade length, the design also plays a major role. Many models are equipped with ergonomic handles that ensure safe and comfortable handling. Another aspect to consider when buying is the weight of the knife. A knife that is too heavy can be impractical, while a model that is too light might not provide enough stability.
Additionally, the size of the knife and the type of blade lock are important. If you have large hands, a knife with a bulkier handle may provide better handling. For pocket knives, the type of lock is crucial – for example, a framelock offers more stability than a slipjoint pocket knife.
Our tip: Pocket knives are also well-suited for everyday use and provide great assistance in many situations. In our shop, we offer a wide range of pocket knives in various designs from different manufacturers.
When choosing your EDC knife, you should be aware of the carrying restrictions in Germany. According to the Weapons Act (WaffG) § 42a, there is a prohibition on carrying certain items. This includes, among other things, knives with lockable blades that can be operated with one hand or fixed knives with a blade length over 12 cm. We have summarized all the information on the topic "What does §42a-compliant mean" on our website.
In our shop, you’ll find a wide range of EDC knives tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking for a functional everyday knife or value style and design, you’ll find the right one with us.
