Cross Cut Titanium – Your Modular Upgrade Kit for Everyday Carry Cross Cut Titanium – Your Modular Upgrade Kit for Everyday Carry 2025-10-11T08:34:56+00:00 2025-10-21T11:58:15+00:00

Cross Cut Titanium – Your Modular Upgrade Kit for Everyday Carry

You can instantly tell when there’s more behind a product than just function. The Cross-Cut titanium scales and inlays are created in close collaboration with Daily Customs—a Hamburg-based company that usually machines precision components for the medical industry. That means tolerances measured in microns.

Each piece is produced in small-batch runs, right here in Germany. The result isn’t just another EDC component, but also local craftsmanship from Hamburg— small works of titanium art that combine technology and design in perfect harmony.

If you’re tired of the ordinary, you’ll get Cross Cut immediately. The distinctive diamond pattern is deep-milled into solid titanium, giving each piece a texture you can both see and feel.

The surface offers enhanced grip without feeling harsh—ideal for pocket carry. Depending on the light, the geometry shifts and plays; the titanium gleams sometimes in matte gray, sometimes almost silvery.

Behind the pattern lies pure precision: every cut is deliberate, every plane machined to microscopic accuracy. The result is a grippy yet elegant texture that makes any knife or pocket tool stand out.

Titanium remains color-stable and corrosion-resistant—unchanged whether you carry your gear daily or keep it in your collection. What endures is that unmistakable look: clean, modern, and built to last.

Spyderco UK Penknife – Cross Cut Titanium Scales

The UK Penknife is one of the most popular slipjoints out there—lightweight, reliable, and legal to carry in Germany. With the new Cross-Cut titanium scales, this knife takes on a completely fresh character: modern, refined, and executed with technical perfection.

What makes this version special:

  • No visible third pin on the surface like on the FRN scales – resulting in a clean, continuous line design.
  • The spine of the blade is fully covered, giving the knife a more cohesive and refined look.
  • A pair of bronze washers is included to prevent the blade from running directly on the titanium.
  • Titanium instead of FRN: the UKPK remains legal to carry under German §42a law, but feels noticeably more solid and premium.

By the way, did you know?
If you order your UKPK directly from us, you can optionally add our assembly service for €10 – and your knife will arrive perfectly assembled and ready to go.

Victorinox 91 mm – Cross Cut Titanium Scales

Few tools are as iconic as the Victorinox 91 mm – a true classic that belongs in every collection. With the new Cross-Cut titanium scales, this pocket knife takes on a completely new personality: clean, elegant, and distinctly premium. The titanium scales replace the traditional Cellidor shell, giving the knife a modern, almost technical feel – without losing the soul of the original.

Daily Knives AK1 – Cross Cut Titanium Scales

The AK1 is a small statement piece: compact, well thought out, and uncompromising in its function. With the Cross-Cut titanium scales, it becomes a knife that impresses not only in use but also in design. Minimalist yet striking – exactly what you’d expect from a proper EDC.

Don’t Worry Stone – Cross Cut Titanium Inlay

The Cross-Cut titanium inlay adds structure and depth to your Don’t Worry Stone, turning it into a tiny pocket-sized work of art – perfectly matched to your knives, beads, and tools in the same aesthetic.

And the best part: you can simply flip it over – the back side reveals a smooth, plain titanium surface for those moments when you prefer a cleaner look. Two sides, one inlay – exactly the kind of flexibility that makes great EDC gear.

The Cross Cut Titanium Scales and Inlays

The Cross-Cut titanium scales and inlays give you the freedom to make your EDC even more personal. They’re easy to install, fun to mix and match, and let you give your setup a new look whenever you feel like it – clean, technical, or classic, it’s entirely up to you.

By the way:
We’ll mount the 91 mm scales for free on a matching Swiss Army Knife when you order both together from us. That way, your new EDC arrives fully assembled and ready to go – and definitely won’t look like anything off the shelf.

Cross Cut Titanium – the best excuse to rebuild your EDC from scratch

Everyone who’s into everyday carry knows the feeling: You’re perfectly happy with your setup – until it hits you that it could look just a little bit better. A different clip, a new material, a fresh texture. Just one tiny detail, but suddenly, it’s all you can think about.

Cross Cut Titanium was made for that moment. For the joy of tinkering, the fun of change – and that satisfying feeling when everything clicks back into place.

Take a look below and get inspired. And if you’ve already built your new Cross-Cut setup – we’d love to see it! Share it in our Facebook group “Knife Lounge by Altonaer Silberwerkstatt” or tag us on Instagram. We love seeing how you live your EDC.

Ja , Titan hat schon was .
