Vero Engineering Nova – Bild 3
Vero Engineering Nova
Version: Stonewashed
Zero Beginner Mistakes Joseph Vero builds drones. And folding knives. And – because apparently neither of those was complicated enough – a custom electric motorcycle. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and years of independent design work across multiple disciplines, one thing becomes obvious very quickly: the man does not sit still. And you can feel that energy in his products. The Nova is Joseph’s very first folder design with a dropoint blade. If you’re thinking “first attempt, let’s see how it goes” – understandable, but completely wrong. What happened between the first sketches and the finished knife was classic Vero Engineering: drawings, CAD models, 3D-printed prototypes, more drawings, sleepless nights, and eventually a knife that feels like every single detail was checked twice. Which, for a mechanical engineer, is honestly not surprising. The Nova was produced in collaboration with Bestech – the same manufacturer behind the Heidi Blacksmith Heidi #1. Meaning: Vero’s construction philosophy meets manufacturing quality that no longer needs an introduction. The titanium framelock locks up rock solid, the front flipper running on ceramic bearings deploys exactly as it should, and the CPM MagnaCut blade – 9.2 cm drop point with a high flat grind – cuts like someone set out to design the ideal everyday blade. At 21.1 cm overall length and 162 g, this is intentionally not a small knife. Instead, it gives you plenty of handle to work with and a very secure feel in hand. A nice detail: the integrated lanyard hole in the backspacer is the first one ever featured on a Vero design. Sounds minor – but it’s exactly the difference between “thought through from the start” and “added later because someone asked for it.”

Vero Engineering Aura – Image 2
Vero Engineering Aura
Blade Finish / Handle Material: Stonewash / Grey Aluminium | Blade Shape: Drop Point
The Vero Engineering Aura is the way into the Vero Engineering brand – at a price that’s otherwise unusual for a Vero Engineering knife. The aluminium handle scales with their velvety surface and the bold, industrial design show the typical Vero signature right away, even though aluminium takes the place of titanium here. The blade in 14C28N is finely and thinly ground, which makes it a precise slicer rather than a coarse workhorse. You can have it either as a classic drop point (8.4 cm) or as a more modern talon with a sheepsfoot profile (8.1 cm). It opens via the thumb hole or the front flipper and is secured by a crossbar lock that snaps in precisely, with no play. At around 119 g and 19.6 cm of open length, the Aura is pleasantly light for daily use – a Vero Engineering knife for anyone who wants to carry the brand in an easygoing, everyday way.

GiantMouse ACE Farley V2 – Image 5

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

GiantMouse ACE Farley V2
Version: Robin Egg Blue G10 / Titan
GiantMouse Farley V2 – the classic slipjoint reimagined If you liked the original Farley, you’re going to love the new V2 version. GiantMouse hasn’t reinvented the classic Farley Slipjoint – but they’ve refined it in all the right places. Where the first version impressed with its clean elegance and titanium handle scales, the Farley V2 brings a touch more vintage charm: the distinctive bolsters give the knife a classic face and create a smooth transition to the handle scales. You can choose between titanium bolsters with carbon fiber scales – lightweight, modern, and technical – or a warm combination of brass bolsters and micarta scales that develop more character with every use. The blade once again features Elmax steel – a high-performance steel known for its exceptional sharpness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. Despite the visual updates, what makes the Farley special remains unchanged: its clean lines, the satisfying “click” when it opens, and the perfect balance between elegance and everyday usability. It’s still the knife you’ll want to carry every day – just with a touch more retro flair.

Victorinox Evoke Olive Black – Image 1
Victorinox Evoke Damascus Limited Edition 2026
Swiss precision! When you think of Switzerland, you probably picture the Alps, stunning landscapes, perfect order – and maybe a piece of Toblerone. Fair enough. But Victorinox has every reason to confidently add itself to that list. With the Evoke Wood Damast Limited Edition 2026, the Swiss once again show that they don’t just excel at mountains and chocolate, but also at knives where materials, craftsmanship, and design come together in perfect harmony. As the 2026 annual knife, this model is based on the well-known Evoke, but receives an upgrade that truly stands out: a large blade made from Damasteel® with 115 layers, featuring the distinctive Gysinge pattern and hardened to around 60 HRC. What that means for you: striking looks, strong performance, and definitely not a mass-produced blade – every pattern is unique. The knife is paired with carefully selected plane tree wood handle scales, adding warmth and natural character while making each piece one of a kind. The contrast between the bold Damascus blade and the lively wood creates a design that feels refined without being overly polished – and premium without losing its everyday usability. Of course, this edition stays true to the Evoke’s core character. This is not a fragile display piece, but a functional EDC knife built to be used. The removable thumb stud adds practical versatility to the handling. And since Victorinox is producing only 7,000 individually numbered pieces worldwide, this is exactly the kind of knife where waiting too long might mean missing out. If you appreciate Swiss precision, premium materials, and genuine collector appeal, the Victorinox Annual Knife 2026 is definitely worth a closer look.
