Blade for the Böker Daily Knives AK1 Blade shape Drop Point Blade steel Magnacut The Drop Point blade shape is one of the long-standing classics of the knife industry. Its unobtrusive appearance, robust tip and excellent handling make the blade shape particularly popular for EDC and household knives. The AK1 Magnacut can be used for rougher work in the forest, also cuts very well in the kitchen and will never let you down in your everyday life. Choose between a satin or stonewash finish. The stonewash is particularly popular because most traces of use blend seamlessly into the surface structure, even after intensive use there are few signs of wear and tear.
Tradition Reimagined The Jack Wolf Knives Pioneer FIXedc is already the brand’s fourth fixed blade – and arguably its most exciting yet. The concept is simple: take a classic Sodbuster from early American history, remove the slipjoint mechanism, and turn it into a modern fixed blade built for everyday use. This blade shape was originally a true working knife of the colonial era. Not something for display, but a tool for field, farm, and daily life. That same spirit carries over into the Pioneer FIXedc, now translated into a contemporary EDC format. The drop point blade made from CPM S90V delivers modern performance: exceptional edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and thanks to the hollow grind, highly efficient cutting performance. With an overall length of around 15.3 cm, a blade length of 7.6 cm, and a weight of approximately 44 g (slight variations depending on the version), it stays compact enough for pocket carry – but it’s definitely not a toy. The handle is intentionally kept slim, yet its shape provides a surprisingly secure grip. The knife comes with a leather sheath with clip, giving you flexible carry options. Jack Wolf Knives’ attention to detail shows in the stitching: each variant features thread color matched to the handle material. And because a bit of nerd culture is always part of the package: the knife ships in the brand’s signature VHS-style packaging with artwork by Sean Tiffany – almost reason enough to keep it on display. Available in the following variants: CamoCarbon 80’s Lightweight, technical, and visually striking. Blue accents on the lanyard and stitching create a fresh contrast. Kirinite Toxic Green Modern, bold, and paired with a DLC finish. Red Abalone Classic with a touch of Las Vegas – vibrant and elegant. Titanium Cross Hatch Fully performance-driven. The milled pattern is reminiscent of designs like the Chris Reeve Umnumzaan.
Compact trouser pocket fixedMade in USA VersionBlade steel: Nitro V2 Kydex sheaths included (for left or right trouser pocket)Includes a titanium pocket clipMADE IN USA! The nod to “view” in the name is no coincidence: “Lookout” refers to Lookout Mountain near Chattanooga – a place with perspective. Just like this knife. Designed with one goal in mind: to be a reliable companion. Not a decorative piece, not a shelf queen, but a tool built to be used. Every day. Outdoors. In everyday life. Or wherever a sharp blade is needed. Now for the best part: this version is Made in the USA. No imports – fully crafted in Big Idea Design’s brand-new workshop in Tennessee. The flat-ground Nitro-V blade is sharp, corrosion-resistant, and made for daily use. The handle, with its screwed-on scales in Micarta, G10, or Ultem, sits solid in the hand, even when wet or dirty. Thanks to its compact size and low weight, you get one of the ultimate pocket-fixed blades here – big enough to handle real work, small enough to stay out of the way in your pocket. Included: two Kydex sheaths – for both left- and right-hand carry – and a sturdy titanium clip.
A Steel Upgrade for a Classic Quick quiz: What does the “MG” in this GMF1 variant actually stand for? Micarta Green? Magnacut Goodness? Honestly, it’s not entirely clear – and it’s not really important. What matters is what this knife delivers. With the GiantMouse GMF1-MG, one of GiantMouse’s most popular fixed blades finally comes with a steel that sets the benchmark right now: Magnacut. Highly corrosion-resistant, exceptionally edge-retentive, and perfectly suited for everyday carry – a modern super steel that belongs exactly where the GMF1 has always lived: in real, daily use. Everything that made the GMF1 a top seller remains unchanged: excellent ergonomics a lightweight yet robust construction a high flat grind running nearly to the spine for clean, efficient cutting performance What’s new are the bolted green Micarta handle scales. They provide noticeably more grip, a warmer feel in hand, and exactly the kind of tool-focused character many fans have been asking for. The package is completed with blasted screws and a flat, robust leather sheath that carries comfortably and discreetly in everyday life. Sheath: The GMF1-MG is supplied with a high-quality leather sheath. Please note: The optional Kydex sheath is not compatible with this Micarta version. Conclusion: The GMF1-MG is not a gimmick and not a stylistic detour. It’s the GMF1 many people have been waiting for – featuring modern steel, honest materials, and the same uncompromising everyday usability.
Big Idea Design x Auxiliary Manufacturing Fixed Blade · Titanium · M390 The Pocket Bowie is no ordinary fixed blade. Michael Jarvis of Auxiliary Manufacturing released a design in 2023 that immediately caught the attention of the EDC world – compact, distinctive, with the unmistakable character of a classic Bowie. For its two-year anniversary, Big Idea Design translated the original into their own language: heavily stonewashed titanium, M390 and their signature Kydex sheath. The result is a fixed blade that actually belongs in your pocket. Titanium Handle. The handle is Grade 5 titanium – light, tough and built to last. Big Idea Design is known for their intense stonewash finish: the knife is tumbled for hours with ceramic stones or abrasive media until both handle and blade have a matte, lightly textured surface. Signs of use barely show – the knife keeps looking good. M390 Blade. M390 is one of the most popular steels in the premium segment. Exceptional edge retention, excellent corrosion resistance, 61 HRC hardness. The 2.8" Bowie blade with clip point is sharp enough for precise work and tough enough for everyday use. With a blade length of 2.8", the Pocket Bowie is fully legal to carry in Germany – no pocket knife, but just as practical. Kydex Sheath with Deep Carry Clip. Two Kydex sheaths are included – one for left, one for right carry. The deep carry titanium clip makes sure the knife disappears deep in the pocket and stays exactly where it belongs. A lanyard hole rounds out the setup. Big Idea Design – Titanium is their language. Big Idea Design is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and has been making premium EDC gear from titanium since 2009. Starting with pens, now known for knives, tools and pry bars – always with the same goal: carry as little as possible, have everything you need. The Pocket Bowie fits that philosophy perfectly. An anniversary with substance. This version is not a limited special edition for the sake of it. It's the logical evolution of a design that impressed from day one – now with the materials and craftsmanship it deserves. For everyone looking for a premium EDC fixed blade that doesn't stand out, but is always there when you need it. Compact. Consistent. Always there.

Outdoor knife CPM3V steel blade Droppoint blade handle made of TPE (low heat conductivity) including high quality Kydex Bronco The new Böker Bronco is THE price/performance hit when it comes to a super sturdy, rather compact outdoor knife. This knife is made of the ultra-tough but very cutting CPM 3V steel, which is one of the most popular alloys when the blade must withstand even the roughest loads.Nevertheless, the blade has been ground to such a thinness that, in addition to stability, it also offers excellent cutting properties. An extremely sharp 90-degree angle has been ground into the front part of the blade spine, allowing you to easily scratch a fire steel. For the handle, Böker have opted for an injected TPE handle, which is simply fabulous in the hand and thanks to its texture is still safe to grip even with wet hands. Thanks to the comparatively low weight, the Böker Bronco is an all-around perfect companion in the forest or on a hike. Included is a kydex sheath, including a clip. The knife is of course manufactured entirely in Böker's factory in Solingen.

That’s right, 4! Sometimes more really is more – and that’s exactly the case with the AK4 from Daily Knives. Does this design look familiar? Then you’re spot on. The AK4 continues Daily Knives’ brilliant AK series in collaboration with Böker in Solingen. At its core, the AK4 sticks closely to the design of the AK1 – only now, you simply have “more” knife in your hand. With a 3.5 mm thick blade made of ultra-tough CPM-3V steel, you’re getting a fixed-blade knife clearly built for heavy-duty outdoor use. But it also shines in hunting applications, where its high flat grind performs beautifully. Thanks to its skeletonized tang, the AK4 offers a lightweight yet ultra-sturdy overall build. With screw construction, you can disassemble and clean your AK4 anytime. Subtly integrated into the rugged Micarta handle scales, you’ll also find a hidden lanyard hole, making it easy to attach a lanyard. So, is it just a bigger AK1? Not quite! While closely related, the AK4 is a distinctly larger and more robust version.

If you want to carry a fixed blade knife in Germany, there are laws you need to know and follow. “Carrying” means having the knife ready to use on your person. According to the Weapons Act (§ 42a), knives with a blade length of 12 cm or more are generally prohibited in public – unless you have a valid reason. Such “legitimate interests” include professional use such as hunting or trade work, sporting activities, or cultural customs. If you want to legally transport a knife with a blade length of 12 cm or more, you must store it in a locked container – such as a bag or backpack with a lock.
Our tip: We've summarized more information about §42a-compliant knives on our info page.
