Ultem. M4. And a Hint of Gemstone. With the Mini Freek Limited 2025, Benchmade presents a true collector’s piece for the SHOT Show Special. Inspired by the rich contrast of amethyst and topaz, this edition plays with bold opposites: translucent amber ULTEM™, a violet-coated blade – and a design you won’t forget anytime soon. Amber Ultem meets violet-coated M4 steel. The handle scales are made from semi-transparent amber ULTEM™ – an ultra-rigid, high-performance polymer normally found in aerospace applications. Here, it gets the spotlight it deserves: lightweight, durable, and instantly recognizable. The CPM-M4 blade features a violet Cerakote® coating – a color that doesn’t scream, but still stands out. M4 is a tool steel for those who know their craft – uncompromising, incredibly tough, and built for hard use. AXIS® Lock Naturally, the legendary AXIS® Lock is part of the build – Benchmade’s signature locking mechanism, fully ambidextrous, smooth in action, and a joy to operate. Patented for decades, and still one of the smartest lock systems on the market. At just 70 grams, with a handle thickness of 13.6 mm and a blade length of 7.65 cm, the Mini Freek remains compact, EDC-friendly – and still a standout. This limited edition is made for those who want more than just a good knife – it’s for those who want a piece with a story, a bold identity, and serious collector appeal. Whether it lives in your pocket or your display case.
Ultra-slim. Ultra-light. 100% Benchmade. With the Mini Narrows, Benchmade shows how modern an EDC knife can be. This isn’t a compromise – it’s a statement. Built from solid titanium, equipped with a finely ground CPM-20CV blade and the trusted AXIS® Lock – a mechanism Benchmade once held the patent for and perfected over decades. Slim. Precise. Made for daily carry. At just 7.4 mm handle thickness, the Mini Narrows is one of the thinnest production folders Benchmade has ever released. But don’t let the slim profile fool you – the milled titanium handle offers all the stability you need without adding unnecessary bulk. The CPM-20CV blade fits this design perfectly: clean lines, precise cutting performance, and ideal for anyone who wants a lightweight, high-end cutting tool for everyday use. Engineering you don’t see – but feel. The re-engineered Mini AXIS® Lock was specifically developed for this format. It’s ambidextrous, intuitive, and benefits from Benchmade’s long-standing experience with the AXIS system – a mechanism that’s become a standard in modern folder design thanks to their early innovation. Paired with titanium backspacers, a reversible deep-carry clip, and clean aesthetics, the Mini Narrows is just as comfortable in a shirt pocket as it is in your daily EDC rotation. For those who live by “less is more.” The Benchmade 743 Mini Narrows is made for people who know exactly what they need – and leave everything else behind. A knife for purists, gearheads, and design lovers who appreciate clean engineering and subtle performance. Mini Narrows = Maximum Benchmade. Minimal footprint. Made in USA.

TJ Black Design Titanium handle with Zirblast FinishMagnacut blade with matt finish made in USAAbout pizza and precision - The New Rig Archer Sometimes a great idea doesn't start in the meeting room, but with a simple pizza. That's exactly how the Archer was born. In 2022, at a knife trade fair, the team from Tactile Knife Co. was tired and hungry after a long day - a dangerous combination. So a few people got together to share a meal. One of them was TJ Schwarz, a knifemaker and designer from Boise, Idaho. After the first drink, it was clear: something was brewing! The timing couldn't have been better. With new machinery and an expanded workshop, Tactile Knife Co. was ready for a “halo” project - a knife that would push the team and technology to their limits. And so the idea for the Archer was born. The drop-point MagnaCut blade offers an ideal balance of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. The flat grind ensures a fine cutting edge that enables clean, controlled work. Thanks to the stonewash finish, the blade remains resistant to scratches. The handle scales? Titanium, of course, and this time with an even more spectacular milling pattern. The deep grooves are a tribute to modern CNC technology, without which these millings would not be possible. The ball-bearing blade opens smoothly via the flipper, while the titanium frame lock with steel insert reliably locks it in place. After all, the fun of playing should not be neglected! The Archer is the result of hunger, pizza, good company and a lot of technical sophistication. If you're looking for a sleek, functional design with first-class workmanship and love knives made in America, you'll find it here. And to be honest: good knife ideas rarely come from salad.
A liner lock pocket knife that’s easy to use for both left- and right-handed users!? And it’s as simple as it is brilliant. The knife features two liners that can be screwed to the scale as needed, so only the desired liner engages while the other one rests against the scale.Chuck Gedraitis design Aluminium handle Sheepfoot blade made from 12C27

Benchmade 710FE Seven | Ten™ – The Modern Classic Returns Some knives don’t just cut – they make history. The 710 is one of them. When Benchmade first released the original 710, it marked a turning point in knife design. It was the very first production knife to feature the now-legendary AXIS® Lock, invented by custom knifemakers Bill McHenry and Jason Williams. The father-and-stepson duo, both meticulous craftsmen with roots in horology and knifemaking, developed a locking mechanism that was smooth, ambidextrous, and incredibly strong. Benchmade saw the potential immediately – and the rest is history. The AXIS® Lock became a signature feature, and the 710 became a modern icon. Now, the legend is back – sleeker, stronger, and better than ever. Recurve Blade. Real Performance. The recurve drop-point blade made from CPM-S90V steel isn’t just good-looking – it delivers serious cutting power. The recurved edge increases cutting surface and gives you more control, making it especially efficient when breaking down cardboard, slicing rope, or handling tough EDC tasks. And with the incredible edge retention of S90V, you’ll go a long time before you need to sharpen it. Tough. Lightweight. No Compromises. The gray aluminum handle strikes the perfect balance between strength and low weight. Cleanly machined contours, a large grip frame, and Benchmade’s signature ergonomics give you full control, even with gloves on. The AXIS® Lock mechanism opens and closes with ease, left- or right-handed – one of the reasons it’s still one of the best locks in the game. This knife isn’t just well made – it’s thoughtfully made. 100% Benchmade. 100% USA. As always with Benchmade, every single component of the 710FE is made entirely in Oregon, USA. From laser-cutting the blade to hand-assembly and final sharpening – this knife goes through the hands of experienced craftspeople who know what makes a tool exceptional. You can feel the precision in every detail. Conclusion – A Benchmade Legend, Reimagined The Seven | Ten™ isn’t just a comeback – it’s the evolution of a true classic. Whether you’re looking for a high-performance EDC, a collector’s piece, or a no-nonsense tool built with integrity: This knife bridges Benchmade’s heritage and modern innovation – and it does it beautifully.

Limited and numbered to 40 pieces each Ceramic ball bearings The small version of the Slim The EDC Cleaver Don't be fooled by the name of this knife – this is a small pocket knife. With the Mini Slim model, Matt Westberg has released a more compact version of the larger SLIM that really packs a punch. Incidentally, the small series runs are manufactured by REATE.Even when closed, it is clear that we are not dealing with an ordinary pocket knife. The silhouette already suggests the wide blade. When you open the Mini Slim, you will see a blade shape that is rarely seen in pocket knives. This cleaver shape is clearly inspired by meat cleavers, which are used primarily by butchers. The wide blade with its sturdy spine is ideal for chopping. Thanks to the high grind, the cutting edge can still be extremely fine, which in turn ensures impressive cutting performance. Thanks to the thumb hole and ceramic ball bearings, the massive blade can butter-soft, and the liner lock engages with a reassuring “click”.The overall look of the Mini Slim has been kept deliberately clean by Bergblades. You'll only find the serial number and limited edition on the inside of the titanium backspacer.

Versatile everyday use
An EDC knife can be useful in a variety of situations. Whether you need it to open packages, cut ropes, or find your way during an outdoor trip – the possibilities are virtually limitless. Especially in emergency situations, a good everyday carry knife can provide valuable service. For hobby craftsmen or outdoor enthusiasts, such a knife is indispensable. Here are some examples of where your EDC knife can be used:
- Everyday tasks: Whether opening letters, cutting packages, or making small repairs – your EDC knife quickly becomes a reliable everyday helper.
- Outdoor activities: When hiking or camping, an everyday carry knife is indispensable. It’s ideal for preparing food, cutting ropes, or starting a campfire.
- Crafting tasks: Whether at home or on the go, an EDC knife is practical for small crafting jobs. It always provides the support you need when precision is required.
- In rescue services: Thanks to their compact design and safe handling, an EDC pocket knife is easy to carry and quickly ready for use.
Key features of EDC knives
When buying an EDC knife, you should consider certain features to find the perfect knife for your needs. In addition to the materials used and the blade length, the design also plays a major role. Many models are equipped with ergonomic handles that ensure safe and comfortable handling. Another aspect to consider when buying is the weight of the knife. A knife that is too heavy can be impractical, while a model that is too light might not provide enough stability.
Additionally, the size of the knife and the type of blade lock are important. If you have large hands, a knife with a bulkier handle may provide better handling. For pocket knives, the type of lock is crucial – for example, a framelock offers more stability than a slipjoint pocket knife.
Our tip: Pocket knives are also well-suited for everyday use and provide great assistance in many situations. In our shop, we offer a wide range of pocket knives in various designs from different manufacturers.
Things to consider
When choosing your EDC knife, you should be aware of the carrying restrictions in Germany. According to the Weapons Act (WaffG) § 42a, there is a prohibition on carrying certain items. This includes, among other things, knives with lockable blades that can be operated with one hand or fixed knives with a blade length over 12 cm. We have summarized all the information on the topic "What does §42a-compliant mean" on our website.
