The EDC Cleaver
Don't be fooled by the name of this knife – this is a small pocket knife. With the Mini Slim model, Matt Westberg has released a more compact version of the larger SLIM that really packs a punch. Incidentally, the small series runs are manufactured by REATE.
Even when closed, it is clear that we are not dealing with an ordinary pocket knife.
The silhouette already suggests the wide blade. When you open the Mini Slim, you will see a blade shape that is rarely seen in pocket knives. This cleaver shape is clearly inspired by meat cleavers, which are used primarily by butchers. The wide blade with its sturdy spine is ideal for chopping. Thanks to the high grind, the cutting edge can still be extremely fine, which in turn ensures impressive cutting performance.
Thanks to the thumb hole and ceramic ball bearings, the massive blade can butter-soft, and the liner lock engages with a reassuring “click”.
The overall look of the Mini Slim has been kept deliberately clean by Bergblades. You'll only find the serial number and limited edition on the inside of the titanium backspacer.

Risk of cuts: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can easily penetrate skin and tissue.
Blade slippage: Improper handling or applying excessive force may cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements and potential injury.
Injuries from falling knives: Knives should never be left unsecured or placed near the edge of tables or work surfaces, as they may fall and cause injury.
Dull blades: Dull knives pose a higher risk of injury, as they require more force and are more likely to slip. Knives should therefore be sharpened regularly and properly.
Improper use: Using a knife for purposes other than its intended use (e.g. as a prying tool) can damage the blade and may result in accidents.
