GiantMouse Farley V2 – the classic slipjoint reimagined If you liked the original Farley, you’re going to love the new V2 version. GiantMouse hasn’t reinvented the classic Farley Slipjoint – but they’ve refined it in all the right places. Where the first version impressed with its clean elegance and titanium handle scales, the Farley V2 brings a touch more vintage charm: the distinctive bolsters give the knife a classic face and create a smooth transition to the handle scales. You can choose between titanium bolsters with carbon fiber scales – lightweight, modern, and technical – or a warm combination of brass bolsters and micarta scales that develop more character with every use. The blade once again features Elmax steel – a high-performance steel known for its exceptional sharpness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. Despite the visual updates, what makes the Farley special remains unchanged: its clean lines, the satisfying “click” when it opens, and the perfect balance between elegance and everyday usability. It’s still the knife you’ll want to carry every day – just with a touch more retro flair.

Compact, Modern, Reliable The Humbler Liner Lock Flipper combines classic tradition with modern technology, bringing the DNA of the Humbler Custom into a contemporary EDC format. With an overall length of 17.7 cm and a blade length of 7.5 cm, this knife is deliberately compact, making it the perfect everyday companion. Proven Liner Lock System For locking, Marcin Kampka relies on the Liner Lock. In his tests, this system proved to be absolutely reliable and safe for a knife of this size – ideal for daily use. Flipper Mechanism for Quick Access The shift from a classic slipjoint to a flipper mechanism was intentional: it offers quick, direct access to the blade while preserving a clean design. Subtle grooves and a tactile texture ensure precise control without being obtrusive. Design Meets Functionality Another highlight is the hidden pivot screw. Unlike many other folders, the axis remains invisible, keeping the knife close to a classic design while featuring modern mechanics. The G10 handle scales are extremely durable, lightweight, and offer a secure grip in everyday situations. Practical & Easy to Carry The discreet clip option on the right side allows you to carry the knife conveniently without interrupting its clean lines. If you prefer not to use it, the slim profile ensures the knife disappears almost unnoticed in your pocket at just 102 mm closed and weighing only 85 g – yet remains ready to hand. MagnaCut – Next-Generation Steel The blade is made of MagnaCut, a modern high-performance steel that is robust, sharp, and corrosion-resistant. This guarantees excellent cutting performance even in a compact knife. Bestech Knives Manufacturing The first production models are created in cooperation with Bestech Knives, renowned worldwide for precise craftsmanship and reliable quality. Compact, elegant, and functional – the MK Knives Humbler Liner Lock Flipper is a high-quality EDC knife for those who value style, quality, and reliability in everyday life.

Robust, Functional, and Maintenance-Friendly You know the situation: many modern knives are more showpieces than true tools. Holes, engravings, “speed-holes” – all nice, but not always practical. With the Ryson, Sam Tran of WE Knife makes a clear statement: move away from overloaded designs, towards a simple, robust hard user that can really do it all. Inspired by classics like CRK, Strider, and Hinderer, the Ryson is a knife you can confidently use every day – whether cutting, prying, or opening your lunch package. Modern, elegant, ergonomic, and reliable. The Ryson is also the first production design from Sam Tran, better known in the community as Raven the Pirate. It wasn’t conceived on paper, but in real life: three friends, plenty of coffee, a weekend in the workshop, and the will to turn an idea into reality. Sam brought the vision, Toni from TNT Knives laid the first lines in CAD and even ground a fixed blade prototype to visualize size and ergonomics. Alex from Kremer Werkzeuge printed multiple 3D models until every detail was perfect. The first WE Knife on washers: The Ryson runs on washers instead of ball bearings. This means less maintenance, less dirt susceptibility, and more stability. The larger surface area of the washers gives the blade a firm seat and allows for a slim design. The “hydraulic washer action” ensures you maintain full control over the blade – no wild drop-shut. The Harpoon blade is not only striking but highly functional: multiple hand positions, precise cutting, and an aggressive, modern design. The blade made of Bohler M390 (3.2 mm thick, 58–60 HRC) is hollow-ground and grey-polished, combining excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and everyday usability. At approximately 8.4 cm, it’s long enough to handle any task, yet compact enough for comfortable carry. The 6AL4V titanium handle fits perfectly in the hand, even for larger hands. The frame lock provides full security while working, and the titanium pocket clip (tip-up, right carry) keeps the knife ready at all times. Thanks to the minimalist 2-screw construction – only pivot and body screw, with the backspacer and clip holding – you only need one T8 bit to fully disassemble the knife. Maximum maintenance-friendliness with minimal effort. With a total length of 19.4 cm, the Ryson sits perfectly between a Small and Large Sebenza – the ideal medium size. Comparable to the Benchmade Bugout or Osborne, but with more high-end hard-user feeling. Name and Philosophy – Ryson: Sam’s Vietnamese name “Sầm Sơn” (mountain) is part of the inspiration, combined with the English word “to rise.” Ryson symbolizes height, ascent, and determination, and it even sounds like “Horizon” – fitting for a knife that feels like a reliable everyday companion in your hand: robust, functional, maintenance-friendly, and elegant. In short: the WE Knife Ryson is a high-end knife you actually use. Robust like a hard user, modern like a design knife, maintenance-friendly like a classic tool – and all for under €300.

The Endura 4 with SPY27 steel takes a proven classic and pushes it into premium territory. SPY27 is Spyderco’s own powder metallurgy steel: stainless, highly edge-retentive, and tough enough to handle real use without flinching. Its 3.8-inch full-flat-ground blade with satin finish slices clean and precise, delivering cutting performance that feels effortless. The lightweight FRN handle in cobalt blue not only keeps the weight down but also provides excellent grip thanks to its bi-directional texture. A solid back lock keeps everything secure, while the four-position clip makes carry fully customizable – left- or right-hand, tip-up or tip-down. Delica Icon meets Exclusive SPY27 Steel The Delica has been around since the early 90s and is pretty much the definition of a Spyderco folding knife: lightweight, slim, reliable – and for many enthusiasts, their very first “serious” EDC. With the fourth generation, Spyderco refined the design to perfection: FRN handle scales with bi-directional texturing for secure grip, the classic back lock, and of course the famous round Spydie hole for one-handed opening. What makes this version stand out is the steel: CPM SPY27. This isn’t just another off-the-shelf formula – it’s a true Spyderco original. Developed together with Crucible, SPY27 blends cobalt, vanadium, niobium, and molybdenum into a powder metallurgy steel that redefines the balance of sharpness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Holds an edge longer than traditional VG-10 blades More robust and less prone to chipping Easy to maintain in everyday use The Delica 4 in SPY27 is not only a piece of knife history but also a statement: Spyderco loves to do things their own way, with plenty of nerdy passion – and you can feel that the moment you hold it.
A cult classic returns – reimagined for 2025 This Harpy remake brings the best of 1987 back – with the know-how of 2025. For almost four decades, the distinctive hawkbill claw of the Spyderco Harpy has been turning heads – and now it’s back with some serious upgrades. For the first time, the Harpy features a screw-together construction instead of the old pinned frame. That means you can disassemble, maintain, and fine-tune your knife yourself – a detail long requested by fans. Also new: the Plain Edge blade. Clean, hungry, and uncompromising. No serrations this time, just pure control for precise cuts. And here’s the nerd trivia: the Harpy even made it into pop culture. In Thomas Harris’ novel “Hannibal”, it gets a mention, and in the film adaptation it shows up in one of the most iconic scenes. So this knife isn’t just a tool – it’s a piece of literary and cinematic legend. 2025 isn’t just a “comeback,” it’s a true revival: the same DNA, the same attitude – but finally updated for today.

Spyderco Native 5 – A True Evergreen An old friend – that’s exactly how you could describe the Spyderco Native 5. It is one of the oldest continuously produced Spyderco models and has earned its place in the lineup over decades. No wonder this knife is considered a true evergreen among knife enthusiasts. The “5” in its name indicates that the Native has already reached its fifth generation, going through several thoughtful evolutions. The leaf-shaped blade has proven its versatility time and again, while the ergonomically designed handle ensures excellent comfort and control. In this version, Spyderco relies on their time-tested brown G10 handle scales. The material is not only extremely durable but also highly grippy. Thanks to its textured surface, the knife stays secure in your hand even when wet or slippery. For maximum safety, the mid-mounted back lock mechanism keeps the blade securely in place. This Sprint Run features a blade made from CPM 15V steel – an ultra-hard, extremely sharp high-performance steel that does require some experience when it comes to resharpening. If you are looking for a lightweight, compact all-around folding knife, the Spyderco Native 5 is a recommendation you can’t go wrong with.

Whether as a daily tool or a stylish collector's item, pocket knives have fascinated people since the dawn of time. Knives are among the world's earliest tools, combining craftsmanship with practical application. These knives are not only works of art but also coveted collectibles and sometimes even investments. The oldest known pocket knife is over 2,500 years old, showing how long this practical tool has been part of our culture.
Pocket knives are characterized primarily by their folding mechanism, which allows the blade to be safely stored within the handle. This makes them particularly compact and safe. Today, there is a wide variety of pocket knives from various manufacturers and designers around the world. They come in different colors, blade shapes and lengths, as well as with various locking and opening mechanisms. Every pocket knife tells its own story and serves as a reliable companion in its owner's daily life.
Choosing the right pocket knife always depends on various factors that should be tailored to your personal needs and preferences.
The blade material is crucial for the knife's sharpness, durability, and maintenance. You can choose between stainless steel, non-stainless carbon or high-carbon steel, or even Damascus steel.
Our tip: For tougher tasks and demanding jobs, fixed-blade knives are ideal. They offer stability and reliability, especially for outdoor activities or craftwork. If you're looking for a compact and versatile knife for daily use, EDC knives are a great choice. They complete your EDC kit and are also true eye-catchers.
If you want to gift a pocket knife, you should also ask yourself beforehand what the recipient intends to use the pocket knife for. Is it for everyday use or more of a collector's item? A carving knife for children, or perhaps for camping? This consideration largely determines what features the knife should have.
According to Weapons Act (WaffG) § 42a, there is a prohibition on carrying certain items. These include, among other things, knives with lockable blades that can be operated with one hand and fixed-blade knives with a blade length over 12 cm. All information on the topic "What does §42a-compliant mean" can be found on our website.
