WE Knife Big Banter Black G10 Ben Petersen Design G10 handle CPM 20CV blade drop point blade flat blade grind black stonewashed blade finish Bigger! Better! Banter! Here it is - the big version of the WE Knife Banter. If you're interested in knives, you can't get around him: for a long time, Ben Peterson from Blade HQ was a true institution on YouTube. His videos were not just product presentations, but had a completely unique and entertaining style. After his end at Blade HQ, it was a short while style around Ben. However, he was not idle. Together with WE Knife, he developed the Banter, a pocket knife that is absolutely tailored to Ben's needs and comes with a few clever features. Firstly, there's the size: perhaps you remember Ben's requirement that a knife be no longer than his outstretched index finger? To test this, Ben likes to put his finger out the back of the blade and see if he can reach the tip. Nevertheless, there are of course users who simply like a slightly larger knife. Therefore, with the Big Banter, the same design is available in a large version. The handle made of G10 is very comfortable in the hand thanks to its unexciting, universal contour and can be used in a variety of positions. In the back you will find a lanyard hole, through which you can thread, for example, a 550 paracord as a lanyard. While the show side is made of a G10 or Micarta shell with an embedded liner, the opposite scale has a steel liner, which also provides a super secure liner lock. The genius here is that WE Knife have chosen such a thin grind that the Banter is an incredible cutting devil. The CPM 20CV blade just flies through the cut material and is up to everyday cutting tasks in EDC. Ceramic ball bearings provide a smooth opening of the blade, which gives the Banter a certain playfulness. Together with the Deep Carry clip, which allows the knife to disappear discreetly in your pocket, you get with the WE Knife Banter an impressively versatile EDC pocket knife that turns out to be an excellent companion in everyday life.

GiantMouse ACE ReoJesper Voxnaes and Jens Anso Design Grip in textured G10 or MicartaBlade in CPM MagnaCut steel with stonewashed finishMade in ItalyNot just for car fans. Imagine standing in a place where past meets present, where the industrial spirit and scent of motor oil of yesteryear can still be felt in every corner. At REO Town in Lansing, Michigan, home of the pioneering REO Motor Car Company, you can feel what innovation must have felt like in the golden era of the automobile. This magical place is just a stone's throw from GiantMouse Headquarters. While the automotive era is, of course, long a thing of the past, the place has retained its tradition while also being a haven for many small, innovative businesses, manufacturers, bars and breweries. This creative atmosphere is exactly what inspired the team at GiantMouse when they created their latest knife - the ACE REO. As soon as you pick it up, you'll feel that the balance and weight, are just right. The canvas micarta or G10 handle fits securely and comfortably in your hand with the "Diamond Plate" routing. By the way, did you know that the Ace Reo is equipped with an MRBS? Maybe you are now wondering what that is supposed to be. This is a so-called MULTIROW BALLBEARING SYSTEM. Here the blade runs not on one, but on two rows of small steel balls, which sit in a plastic cage. So the root of the blade has a larger contact area, which means that lateral forces can be better distributed. In addition, the blade action is somewhat "smoother" and in the case of the ACE Reo a little more reminiscent of the "feel" of a bronze washer. Whether you are out and about or mastering your urban everyday life, the ACE REO is ready for the big and small adventures. In the blade of this lightweight folding knife, the still relatively new Magnacut steel is used, which is not only extremely rust resistant, but also remains very long cutting. The Reo is locked via a bombproof arresting liner lock. But the ACE REO is more than your new faithful companion - it's a story you carry with you, a piece of true ingenuity you can hold in your hand. A tribute to the past but also a step into the future.

Our tip: In our blog post Everyday Carry, you’ll find everything you need to know about this exciting topic and the many benefits your own EDC kit can offer.
An EDC knife can be useful in a variety of situations. Whether you need it to open packages, cut ropes, or find your way during an outdoor trip – the possibilities are virtually limitless. Especially in emergency situations, a good everyday carry knife can provide valuable service. For hobby craftsmen or outdoor enthusiasts, such a knife is indispensable. Here are some examples of where your EDC knife can be used:
When buying an EDC knife, you should consider certain features to find the perfect knife for your needs. In addition to the materials used and the blade length, the design also plays a major role. Many models are equipped with ergonomic handles that ensure safe and comfortable handling. Another aspect to consider when buying is the weight of the knife. A knife that is too heavy can be impractical, while a model that is too light might not provide enough stability.
Additionally, the size of the knife and the type of blade lock are important. If you have large hands, a knife with a bulkier handle may provide better handling. For pocket knives, the type of lock is crucial – for example, a framelock offers more stability than a slipjoint pocket knife.
Our tip: Pocket knives are also well-suited for everyday use and provide great assistance in many situations. In our shop, we offer a wide range of pocket knives in various designs from different manufacturers.
When choosing your EDC knife, you should be aware of the carrying restrictions in Germany. According to the Weapons Act (WaffG) § 42a, there is a prohibition on carrying certain items. This includes, among other things, knives with lockable blades that can be operated with one hand or fixed knives with a blade length over 12 cm. We have summarized all the information on the topic "What does §42a-compliant mean" on our website.
In our shop, you’ll find a wide range of EDC knives tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking for a functional everyday knife or value style and design, you’ll find the right one with us. If you need help choosing or have questions about the knives, we’re here to assist you. Just use our contact form.
