Tactile Knife Maverick Titanium Richard Rogers Design Titanium handle Magnacut bladeMADE IN USACompletely timeless! What do a Rolex Datejust, a Parker Jotter, a Porsche 911, an Alden Blucher shoe and the Maverick from Tactile Knife have in common? That's right: all these objects have a design that is completely detached from time, fashion or trends. Neither old-fashioned nor modern. Not from yesterday, but not a wild vision of the future either. With the Maverick, Richard Rogers has managed (once again...) to create a knife that already has what it takes to become an absolute classic. The proportions are absolutely harmonious and balanced and there is really nothing that would detract from the overall picture. The Maverick is a fantastic EDC knife that is up to pretty much any everyday task. The Magnacut blade is as sturdy as it is easy to cut and is also absolutely rust-resistant in a way that only a few other alloys are. The Maverick is available in two versions: on the one hand, there is the very attractive titanium version, which weighs a little more. If you like it ultra-light, then perhaps the version with the Richlite handle scales would be interesting. Both versions have a fine milled pattern that gives you a little haptic feedback and also looks beautiful.

GiantMouse Biblio-XL "Big brother" of the classic Biblio Handle made of green canvas micarta or textured titanium Blade made of MagnacutThe big comeback GiantMouse's most famous design to date is back. And this time in a large version. This knife is based on the highly limited GM1, which was only available via the manufacturer's website and sold out within a very short time. With the Biblio - whose name is derived from the iconic Biblio Bar in Brooklyn - you now have the opportunity to get a much more affordable version of this great knife design. The Biblio is not just a new edition - it is the XL version that many fans have been waiting for. GiantMouse themselves describe the Biblio as a knife for "dives and dancehalls". The versatility and timeless elegance of this knife is simply remarkable. The XL version sits comfortably in the hand and offers a secure grip even with wet hands thanks to the textured handle scales. For greater stability, the entire handle is lined with liners made of Asis 420 steel, which is highly resistant to rust thanks to its alloy. The liner lock closes the knife cleanly and is absolutely easy to use. GiantMouse uses two different alloys for the blade material: while the Micarta version uses good old Elmax, the titanium version has a blade made of Vanax steel. This alloy, produced using a powder metallurgical process, is equally rust-resistant, tough and edge-holding, making it an excellent choice for an all-purpose knife. The very high flat grind and the fine bevel give the Biblio a great cutting performance that can handle just about any everyday task. All in all, this knife combines the best of Danish design and extremely precise manufacturing in Italy, resulting in an absolutely universal tool that will serve you faithfully.

An EDC knife can be useful in a variety of situations. Whether you need it to open packages, cut ropes, or find your way during an outdoor trip – the possibilities are virtually limitless. Especially in emergency situations, a good everyday carry knife can provide valuable service. For hobby craftsmen or outdoor enthusiasts, such a knife is indispensable. Here are some examples of where your EDC knife can be used:
When buying an EDC knife, you should consider certain features to find the perfect knife for your needs. In addition to the materials used and the blade length, the design also plays a major role. Many models are equipped with ergonomic handles that ensure safe and comfortable handling. Another aspect to consider when buying is the weight of the knife. A knife that is too heavy can be impractical, while a model that is too light might not provide enough stability.
Additionally, the size of the knife and the type of blade lock are important. If you have large hands, a knife with a bulkier handle may provide better handling. For pocket knives, the type of lock is crucial – for example, a framelock offers more stability than a slipjoint pocket knife.
Our tip: Pocket knives are also well-suited for everyday use and provide great assistance in many situations. In our shop, we offer a wide range of pocket knives in various designs from different manufacturers.
When choosing your EDC knife, you should be aware of the carrying restrictions in Germany. According to the Weapons Act (WaffG) § 42a, there is a prohibition on carrying certain items. This includes, among other things, knives with lockable blades that can be operated with one hand or fixed knives with a blade length over 12 cm. We have summarized all the information on the topic "What does §42a-compliant mean" on our website.
In our shop, you’ll find a wide range of EDC knives tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking for a functional everyday knife or value style and design, you’ll find the right one with us.
