We all know that the laws regarding carrying knives in public are far stricter in Europe than in the US. Spyderco, as an innovative manufacturer, has created a solution: The UKPK (UK Penknife) is a European classic that even complies with the very strict laws in the UK.
CPM® SPY27® is an innovative and high quality steel developed exclusively for Spyderco. This stainless steel is particularly remarkable for its cobalt-enriched, particle metallurgy composition and offers outstanding edge retention and wear resistance. The unique composition of this steel allows for optimized blade performance, and its special finish promises long life. It is often represented by a distinctive cobalt blue, which is one of the signature design features of knives that use this particular steel. Ideal for those looking for a reliable and durable knife with exceptional sharpness and performance.

Spyderco CPM SPY27
Vielen Dank! Viel Grüße und gesund!
Risk of cuts: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can easily penetrate skin and tissue.
Blade slippage: Improper handling or applying excessive force may cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements and potential injury.
Injuries from falling knives: Knives should never be left unsecured or placed near the edge of tables or work surfaces, as they may fall and cause injury.
Dull blades: Dull knives pose a higher risk of injury, as they require more force and are more likely to slip. Knives should therefore be sharpened regularly and properly.
Improper use: Using a knife for purposes other than its intended use (e.g. as a prying tool) can damage the blade and may result in accidents.
