Bottle Butcher
Removable handle scales
Small fixed blade with key ring
Knife and bottle opener in one
Bottle opener - hatchet - key chain - knife
Is it a knife? A mini hatchet? Is it a pry bar? A bottle opener?
Sort of a bit of everything.
The Bottle Butcher is one of THE top sellers of BergBlades. This little two-finger knife fits on every key ring or comfortably in the watch pocket of your jeans.
With a blade thickness of a whopping 5mm and a cutting edge of 3.1cm, this small fixed blade really is extremely compact. The shape of the blade is clearly reminiscent of a classic butcher's hatchet. The partial flat grind allows the knife to cut verry well while remaining ultra sturdy, for example to be able to do some light pry work.
The highlight is clearly the cut-out on the back of the blade, which serves as a cap lifter. By the way, the knife does not even have to be pulled out of the well fitted Kydex - the sheath also has a matching recess to immediately and safely be able to use the bottle opener.
To make the Bottle Butcher as insensitive to humidity as possible, the very rust-resistant 440C steel and G10 handles were used in the construction this knife.
To put this compact knife through its paces, we simply used the Bottle Butcher for one week straight for literally ALL cutting tasks. No matter if its cardboard, string, fruit or pizza: in in doubt this little hatchet is ready for anything!
The Bottle Butcher comes with a Kydex and a robust key ring.

Berg Blades SweeneySmall limited run with only a few piecesknives are individually numbered on the inside of the backspacerCPM 20V steelThe Best ThreeThe Berg Blades Sweeney is basically a best-off design of three different Berg Blades knives. Take the handle of the Barber, the blade of the Tick and the thumb hole of the Slim - poof you have the Sweeney. Alright, it's not quite that simple, of course. This knife is much more than the sum of these three designs. The overall line is just incredibly harmonious and simply coherent. You can open the blade made of CPM 20CV steel either via the thumbhole or the tiny front flipper, which protrudes slightly above the handle scales. The ceramic ball bearings run on hardened steel discs, which both ensures that the Sweeney has an incredibly smooth gliding blade action and allows for maximum longevity. Other than that, you get everything you'd expect from a modern folder these days: lockbar insert with overtravel stop, titanium plates, micarta inlays, and a handsome 3D-milled titanium clip.Fabrication is handled by REATE on this knife..
Rick Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Spanto
Tri Way Pivot System
CPM S45VN steel "Run"
Gen. 6
The XM-18 is the heart of the entire Hinderer product line, so to speak. You could also say that this tactical folder has been something of a template for countless modern frame-lock folding knives over the last 10 years. XM-18 3.5"
The 3.5" version is the larger version of the Hinderer classic. This knife not only looks absolutely exciting, but also proves to be an excellent EDC knife in everyday use.
The ergonomically shaped handle sits comfortably in the hand and allows the knife to be used safely both when fencing and when forward. The titanium liners and the handle scales made of milled G10 make the knife robust and can therefore also be used for somewhat tougher tasks. The opening via the flipper is absolutely effortless and the framelock locks the knife bombproof. Thanks to the steel insert in the lockbar interface, the knife can be securely locked even after years of use without the lock wearing out. The Lock Stabilizer invented by Rick Hinderer ensures that the locking spring cannot be overstretched or damaged when opening. Tri-Way pivot system
Do you prefer to use your knife with ball bearings? Or would you prefer nylon washers? No problem. In the sixth generation of the XM-18, Rick Hinderer has introduced the "Tri Way Pivot System". This gives you the option of equipping your knife with either the nylon or bronze washers supplied or with small ball bearings.Spanto blade
The blade is the so-called Spanto shape. "Spanto" is basically a portmanteau of "spearpoint" and "tanto". This blade combines the best properties of both shapes, which ensures good cutting performance on the one hand and an extremely stable tip on the other. Hinderer blades deliberately leave a little more material behind the cutting bevel. On the one hand, this avoids chipping in the steel during harder use and, on the other, the cutting edge can be resharpened more often. An S45VN steel is used in this run
An ingenious feature of all XM-18 knives are the two thumb pins. These serve primarily as a blade stop, as they rest on the titanium scales when open. This extremely robust design makes lateral blade play virtually impossible All in all, with this version of the XM-18 you get an extremely robust folding knife, which can also be used for somewhat tougher tasks without any problems.
What does Battle Bronze mean?
Rick Hinderer offers different finishes1. Stonewashed Finsh = the blade and titanium hardware are stonewashed2. Working Finish = the blade and titanium hardware are first sandblasted and then receive their stonewash finish The surface is more matte than with the stonewash finish.3. Battle Bronze/Blue= Working Finish in combination with a colored anodization of the titanium hardware.

WE Knife Ignio Toni Tietzel Design Titanium handle Wharnto blade made of CPM 20CVThe Ignio from WE Knife is the manufacturer's third TNT design. Behind TNT is none other than Toni Nicolas Tietzel - probably the most exciting young talent on the German knifemaking scene. Toni's custom fixed knives, some of which are crafted with breakneck precision, have been legendary for several years now and are extremely popular among collectors.
The Ignio now offers Toni's signature in folder form. As always, Toni has not left even the tiniest design detail to chance with this knife. Every line, every radius and every angle has been thought through down to the very last! Despite the complexity of his designs, it is particularly important to Toni to always keep the overall line as fluid and harmonious as possible. The Ignio is therefore completely coherent both when folded and unfolded. The Wharnto blade combines design features of the Wharncliff and Tanto shapes. It is interesting to note that the tip of the blade lies almost on the central axis of the knife. In addition to the extremely fine grind, this ensures outstanding cutting performance. It is interesting to note that the so-called compound grind combines different blade grinds. The rear, hollow-ground part ensures extreme precision, while you get a little more stability towards the tip.
The ball-bearing blade made of CPM20CV fires with a lot of force from the titanium handle scales so that the fidget faction also gets its money's worth. All in all, I have to say: Bravo! The Ignio is certainly one of the most exciting knife designs currently on the market.
