This of course also applies to the GiantMouse Nazca. This knife is clearly out of the ordinary - and that's a good thing. Unlike the Biblio or the Grand, for example, the Nazca is equipped with a very (VERY!) long, mean tip that gives the knife a super racy look. Thanks to the thumb recess on the back of the blade, you have a very secure grip here, which gives you a lot of control over the blade when carving, for example.  Another highlight of the Nazca is the lock: here, for the first time, the Cross-Bar Lock is used, which is essentially GiantMouse's interpretation of an Axis Lock. Here, a solid steel bolt slides onto the back of the blade, preventing the blade from folding in or out uncontrollably. The necessary resistance is provided by two omega springs located laterally under the handle scales, which press the bolt against the blade root. This lock is not only extremely robust, but also offers a lot of fun, also because of the built-in ball bearings.  Depending on your personal taste, you have the choice of either titanium, carbon fibre or lightweight micarta handle scales.
