GiantMouse ACE Titanium ReoJesper Voxnaes and Jens Anso Design Grip in textured TitaniumBlade in CPM MagnaCut steel with stonewashed finishMade in ItalyNot just for car fans.
Imagine standing in a place where past meets present, where the industrial spirit and scent of motor oil of yesteryear can still be felt in every corner. At REO Town in Lansing, Michigan, home of the pioneering REO Motor Car Company, you can feel what innovation must have felt like in the golden era of the automobile. This magical place is just a stone's throw from GiantMouse Headquarters. While the automotive era is, of course, long a thing of the past, the place has retained its tradition while also being a haven for many small, innovative businesses, manufacturers, bars and breweries. This creative atmosphere is exactly what inspired the team at GiantMouse when they created their latest knife - the ACE REO. As soon as you pick it up, you'll feel that the balance and weight, are just right. The canvas micarta or G10 handle fits securely and comfortably in your hand with the "Diamond Plate" routing. We find the somewhat rarely seen Denim Micarta really cool: here memories of your favorite jeans come to life.By the way, did you know that the Ace Reo is equipped with an MRBS? Maybe you are now wondering what that is supposed to be. This is a so-called MULTIROW BALLBEARING SYSTEM. Here the blade runs not on one, but on two rows of small steel balls, which sit in a plastic cage. So the root of the blade has a larger contact area, which means that lateral forces can be better distributed. In addition, the blade action is somewhat "smoother" and in the case of the ACE Reo a little more reminiscent of the "feel" of a bronze washer.
Whether you are out and about or mastering your urban everyday life, the ACE REO is ready for the big and small adventures. In the blade of this lightweight folding knife, the still relatively new Magnacut steel is used, which is not only extremely rust resistant, but also remains very long cutting. The Reo is locked via a bombproof arresting liner lock. But the ACE REO is more than your new faithful companion - it's a story you carry with you, a piece of true ingenuity you can hold in your hand.
A tribute to the past but also a step into the future.

The AtelierArt, craft, dance, and music - all the beautiful things that can take place in an Atelier. Aesthetics always play a big role and so it is with the GiantMouse Atelier. What may look at first glance like a Grand (GM's large folder) washed too hot, turns out to be a completely separate knife upon closer inspection. After discontinuing the original GiantMouse, the "Biblio" model, the Atelier takes the place of a small, versatile and beautiful folding knife. The blade shape is largely the same as the Grand: a long, aggressive Swedge give the knife a sporty look, while the handle with its angled end really "digs" into the hand. In keeping with the GiantMouse tradition, this knife also features a heavy solid brass backspacer for optimal balance in the handThe Elmax steel used, from Böhler, is one of the highest performance steels currently available on the market. In addition to the very high edge retention, the alloy is also extremely resistant to rust.Only the name remains to be clarified: while the "Grand" was named after the Grand Hotel in Nuremberg, the Atelier got its name from the bar of the same name in said hotel. Whether the design of the knife was created here during a night of drinking is not exactly known - but it cannot be completely ruled out.Versions:
Micarta Green - Titanium Backspacer - Blade Finish: SatinMicarta Red - Titanium backspacer - Blade finish: Stonewashed
Titanium (milled Pattern) - Brass backspacer - Blade finish: Satin
Carbon fiber - Titanium backspacer blue anodized - Blade finish: SatinElmax steel is a powder metallurgy steel known for its excellent combination of hardness, corrosion resistance and sharpness.
Here are some useful information about this material
Hardness: Elmax steel has a hardness of about 59-62 HRC (Rockwell hardness), which means it is very resistant to wear and tear. This makes it an ideal material for knife blades that need to be sharp and durable.
Corrosion resistance: Elmax steel is very resistant to rust and corrosion. This means that knife blades made from this material last longer and are less susceptible to damage from moisture or other environmental factors.Sharpness: Elmax steel has a very fine grain structure, which gives it exceptional sharpness. This means that knife blades made from this material are very sharp and retain their sharpness longer than blades made from other materials.
Workability: Elmax steel is somewhat more difficult to work with than other types of steel due to its high hardness and special composition. It usually requires special tools and techniques to cut and shape it.
Applications: Elmax steel is commonly used in the manufacture of high-quality knife blades, as well as other applications such as precision tools, surgical instruments, and aerospace parts.
GiantMouse Biblio-XL BLUE G10"Big brother" of the classic Biblio Handle made of Blue G10 Blade made Vanadis Steel (PVD Coated)The big comeback GiantMouse's most famous design to date is back. And this time in a large version. This knife is based on the highly limited GM1, which was only available via the manufacturer's website and sold out within a very short time. With the Biblio - whose name is derived from the iconic Biblio Bar in Brooklyn - you now have the opportunity to get a much more affordable version of this great knife design. The Biblio is not just a new edition - it is the XL version that many fans have been waiting for.
GiantMouse themselves describe the Biblio as a knife for "dives and dancehalls". The versatility and timeless elegance of this knife is simply remarkable. The XL version sits comfortably in the hand and offers a secure grip even with wet hands thanks to the textured handle scales. For greater stability, the entire handle is lined with liners made of Asis 420 steel, which is highly resistant to rust thanks to its alloy. The liner lock closes the knife cleanly and is absolutely easy to use.
GiantMouse uses two different alloys for the blade material: while the Micarta version uses good old Elmax, the titanium version has a blade made of Vanax steel. This alloy, produced using a powder metallurgical process, is equally rust-resistant, tough and edge-holding, making it an excellent choice for an all-purpose knife. The very high flat grind and the fine bevel give the Biblio a great cutting performance that can handle just about any everyday task. All in all, this knife combines the best of Danish design and extremely precise manufacturing in Italy, resulting in an absolutely universal tool that will serve you faithfully.
GiantMouse GMF2-Red G10
N690 Steel
Black Stonewashed PVD Finish
Red G10 handle scales
Leather sheath with dangler
The big one
The GMF2 is one of the most popular knives from the GiantMouse program. Especially for outdoor activities, this robust fixed is extremely popular thanks to its robust Sabre Grind. The handle with its screwed scales of red G10, is wonderfully full in the hand and allows so long work without you hotspots to create.
The very tapered blade has a very special flow, which is nicely underlined by the slanted ricasso. The jimping on the back of the blade was placed so that you can transfer a lot of force to the blade with your thumb and guide the knife safely at the same time. The very rust resistant Böhler N690 steel holds its sharpness very well and is still ready for use even after long periods of cutting. For a more tacticool look, the blade has a nice black stonewash finish.
Together with the handmade leather sheath you get here a real working knife, which simply feels most comfortable on hikes or in the forest.

GiantMouse ACE Nazca Carbon Fibre
Jens Anso & Jesper Voxnaes Design
with Cross-Bar Lock
Magnacut with a satin blade finish
Brass backspacerlimited to 350 pieces
Quite a few lines
Both Jens Anso and Jesper Voxnaes agree that the design of a pocket knife must always be about clear and coherent lines. This of course also applies to the GiantMouse Nazca. This knife is clearly out of the ordinary - and that's a good thing. Unlike the Biblio or the Grand, for example, the Nazca is equipped with a very (VERY!) long, mean tip that gives the knife a super racy look. Thanks to the thumb recess on the back of the blade, you have a very secure grip here, which gives you a lot of control over the blade when carving, for example.
Another highlight of the Nazca is the lock: here, for the first time, the Cross-Bar Lock is used, which is essentially GiantMouse's interpretation of an Axis Lock. Here, a solid steel bolt slides onto the back of the blade, preventing the blade from folding in or out uncontrollably. The necessary resistance is provided by two omega springs located laterally under the handle scales, which press the bolt against the blade root. This lock is not only extremely robust, but also offers a lot of fun, also because of the built-in ball bearings.
Depending on your personal taste, you have the choice of either titanium, carbon fibre or lightweight micarta handle scales. For the best possible balance, both versions have a solid brass back spacer. Made - just like the Farley - by Bestech.
By the way, the name "Nazca" alludes to the legendary Nazca lines in Peru. Line management is everything....
