Carbon fiber handle

flat blade grind
Made by Lionsteel The Spyopera is a collaboration between Spyderco and Lionsteel. The design goes back to a Lionsteel design that has been manufactured in Italy for some time under the name "Opera". This very knife was then reworked again together with Spyderco and is now available in a Damascus Sprint Run version, where the blade is clearly the star of the show. This Sprint Run takes the SpyOpera design to a whole new level and equips the pocket knife with a blade made of martensitic Damascus steel in the Thor pattern.
This exceptional material was developed by the Swedish company Damasteel and is produced in a patented powder metallurgical process in which layers of RWL 34 and PMC 27 are welded together to form a state-of-the-art Damascus stainless steel. After precision machining and flat grinding, the blade is acid etched to reveal the complex layering pattern. Almost as spectacular is the handle of this knife, with its solid carbon fibre scales carefully machined to create ergonomic and curved surfaces. All the other features of the Spyopera are the deep carry clip and Lionsteel's signature rounded spine and backlock.
Spyderco Lil' Native Slipit Black
Slipjoint Folder
CPM-S-30V
Unlocked
With the Lil' Native Slipit, Spyderco have added another very compact variant to their in-house classic. The Lil'Native Slipit is more or less the German-Legal version of this small EDC folder.
While the Lil'Native was previously equipped with either a compression lock or a backlock, the Slipjoint version is now integrated into the incredibly popular Slipit series, which you surely know through knives like the UKPK or the Urban. The difference is that the Lil'Native Slipit continues to be built with the self-supporting G10 handle scales, rather than FRN scales like most other models in this series. Due to the strong back spring and a slight notch on the blade tang, the blade is held securely in the open position despite the lack of a lock. In addition, thanks to Spyderco's signature choil, you can place your index finger so that the blade doesn't accidentally flip onto your fingers.
Just like its sister models, this Lil'Native has the Leaveshape blade with the tip on the center axis of the handle. The fully raised flat grind and the very edge-holding CPM S30V steel ensure the best cutting properties despite the short blade length, so you can do most things in everyday life with this knife. Don't let the name and small dimensions of the Lil'Native Slipit mislead you: this little rattle has it all. It's not just the compliant design that makes this knife so interesting. The low weight, the slim design let this everyday companion disappear inconspicuously in your pocket.
Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Micarta CruWear
Micarta Scales
CruWear Tool Steel
Compression Lock
A true EDC classic
Spyderco fans have been waiting for this for years: a PM2 with Micarta handle scales. There's a steel update to go with it.
Originally introduced in 2010, this all-around knife has been improved over the years so that this cutting tool is now an absolutely mature design. The incredibly ergonomically shaped handle, is designed for maximum control when working with the knife and allows a variety of ways to guide the blade.
Really great is the so-called Fingerchoil (an indentation at the base of the blade), which makes it possible to grip the knife very close to the cutting edge to transmit maximum force to the cutting movement. Thanks to the attached filing (jimping), you have an absolutely secure grip even in this position and the knife never threatens to slip away thanks to the grippy surface of the Micarta.
An absolute highlight of the PM2 is the Compression Lock. At first glance, this locking technology looks like a rear-placed liner lock - but a closer look reveals that this is not the case. With the Compression Lock, the liner moves between the blade root and the stop pin on the back. To destroy this lock, the steel liner between the blade root and the pin would have to be crushed, which is virtually impossible. This construction makes the Para Military 2 one of the most robust pocket knives the market has to offer. Unlike the standard version of the PM2, the liners on this variant are underlaid and not recessed. This further increases the edge stability of the Micarta.
The blade is made of CruWear tool steel, which is very popular thanks to its toughness and edge retention. The fully raised flat grind ensures optimal cutting performance and the fine point allows for even the finest detail work.
Thanks to the reversible pocket clip on both sides, the knife is ideal for both right- and left-handed users, while the large lanyard hole allows the attachment of a safety strap. Due to the Micarta used and the CruWear steel, the entire knife will put on a certain patina over time and thus get a very personal look.
What is CruWear, anyway?
CruWear is an air-hardened tool steel from Crucible Industries, one of the main suppliers of Spydercos steels. CruWear was basically developed as a sort of D2 alternative, except that it's an entirely different alloy and manufacturing method. While D2 has mainly chromium carbides for better wear resistance, CruWear also contains a high proportion of very hard vanadium carbides. These provide tremendous edge retention with a very high degree of hardness. Tungsten and molybdenum have also been added to the steel.
Spyderco Delica S30V Pink Heels Black
Pocket knife from the Spyderco "Pink Heels" series, which donates a portion of the proceeds to the Society Against Cancer in Women
compact EDC pocket knife weighing only 68g
FRN handle and black S30V steel blade
The small thingsIn 1990 Spyderco shook up the knife world and revolutionized the pocket knife with the Endura and Delica! Backlock, one handed opening with the famous Spydie Hole and still an absolute lightweight. A modern high-end knife at a fair price and that in two different sizes.
The Delica is the small version of the Spyderco classic. Practical 7.5 cm blade with a total weight of only 71 g - an ultra light and stable knife, which has lost nothing of its charm or use over the years.
Even more than 30 years later, the Delica still cuts a fine figure and can compete with current competitors. The fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handles offer a perfect blend of stability, ergonomics and slip resistance. The design allows ambidextrous use without restrictions, which is also supported by the 4 way clip (tip up, down, left as well as right). The Japanese VG10 steel convinces with its long edge retention and cutting performance.
Pink Heels? You probably noticed that this Delica is not just a normal Spyderco knife. The bright pink handle scales and black blade not only create a super cool contrast, but support an important message. Cancer - especially breast cancer - is one of the most common causes of death among women worldwide. Yet breast cancer in particular could be easily detected with targeted education and regular screening. Pink Heels are committed to precisely this and have launched a whole series of anti-cancer campaigns. Spyderco supports the Pink Heels organization with a portion of the proceeds from each Pink Heels knife sold.

Eric Glesser Design
Ball Bearing Lock
Eric's First
Spyderco has been a family business from the beginning. At the very start, the company consisted practically only of Sal Glesser and his wife, who drove around the country with a bus and visited trade shows. Today, Spyderco is based in Golden, Colorado, and has become one of the leading pocket knife manufacturers in the USA. In addition to Sal Glesser, today it is primarily his son Eric who has taken the management of the company in hand. And even his first design, the Manix 2, is a hit.
The Manix 2 is definitely one of the Spyderco knives you'll pick up and not want to put aside again. The ergonomic design offers an incredibly comfortable hand position so that this tool literally sticks in your hand while working. On two solid steel liners sit handle scales made of indestructible G10, which can really take a beating. A central feature of the Manix 2 is the Ball Bearing Lock. Here, a thick steel ball, which sits in a plastic cage, is pushed onto the blade root by means of a centrally mounted spring. This prevents the blade from simply folding back in. This lock is not only incredibly sturdy but also has a completely unique feel. The blade action has a gentle resistance, so that a very controlled action is achieved.
The leaf-shaped blade made of CPM S30V is opened, as you know it from Spyderco for sure, through the large thumbhole. With the blade tip located on the center axis of the knife, you have maximum control over the knife when working with the Manix 2 and can also do very precise cutting work. The fully raised flat ground provides the best cutting properties so that working with this rattle is simply fun.
