Otter Anchor Knife Micarta Knife Lounge Exclusiveclassic anchor knife with green micarta handle scales handle scales including brass anchor and bolster blasted You have the choice between a non-stainless carbon steel blade (C75) or a stainless steel blade (1.4034 steel)The micarta, including bolsters, rivets and brass anchors, is then blasted, giving it a classy matte tone. You have the choice of a stainless carbon steel (C75) blade or a rust resistant blade.  The iconic shape of the knife is suitable by the shape of the blade especially for pulling cuts and was therefore particularly popular in seafaring to cut ropes or lines. But also making a sandwich works great: for this you simply use the bulbous curved blade back - the next picnic is coming!  The spring of the slip joint has a fixed tension and ensures that the knife does not accidentally fold while you are working. The anchor knife you recognize from afar by the large anchor on the handle scales: this is a hand-adjusted inlay of brass, which takes on a beautiful, dark patina over time.
