Esnyx Beer Buster Jr. SlipjointThe basic shape of this knife is of course based on the legendary Sodbuster, also known as the "Hippekniep" or simply "work knife". This is one of the most traditional pocket knives of all and it is probably not too much to say that John Dutton's ancestors built the Yellowstone Ranch with this knife in their trouser pockets.  Esnyx have now taken up this traditional form and designed a hyper-modern version of this classic. Incidentally, this was rewarded with the Best New Maker Knife award at the Blade Show Texas 2019. The screwed handle scales made of Titanium or Micarta are absolutely flush with the tight back spring. While the bottle logo plate is laser-cut on the titanium version, the Micarta version comes with a titanium inlay. Especially for outdoor activities, this robust fixed is extremely popular thanks to its robust Sabre Grind. The handle with its screwed scales of red G10, is wonderfully full in the hand and allows so long work without you hotspots to create. The very tapered blade has a very special flow, which is nicely underlined by the slanted ricasso. The jimping on the back of the blade was placed so that you can transfer a lot of force to the blade with your thumb and guide the knife safely at the same time. The very rust resistant Böhler N690 steel holds its sharpness very well and is still ready for use even after long periods of cutting. For a more tacticool look, the blade has a nice black stonewash finish. NGMCo Mr. NiceBarTitanium Prybar and Bottle Opener Finish: Blasted, StonewashedMade by Archie in Colorado USAThe Mr. NiceBar is milled by Archie in his workshop from a solid titanium bar. He determined thedimensionsbased on his experience and years of using Prybars.This is, in fact, the perfect "sweet spot", for a Prybar. The story behind it: Archie and his wife spent 10 days in Medellín, Colombia. The laws regarding carrying knives were unclear there and he had no desire to spend a few nights in a South American prison. So this 12.7 cm EDC Prybar became his travel companion and since then his most used and most carried EDC item. The Mr. NiceBar is a functional, minimalist, high-quality and useful tool. The recessed pocket acts as a frame for the tool, saving weight while providing more grip. The edges are hand ground so they are not too sharp, but not dull either.  Capsule lifter and pocket clip are intentionally on one side so that the opposite side has a clean, straight edge.  Also a nice detail is the triangular milled lanyard hole.
