"I've always been very impressed with all the great makers in the EDC scene who build cool stuff that people carry and use every day. I've always thought Worry Stones were nifty,but I'm also a sucker for things with added value. In and of themselves, these are just blocks that are only good as fidget toys or trouser weights. That's why I had the spontaneous idea to integrate a bottle opener. That it should be modular was my concept from the beginning, so that everyone can assemble it to fit his EDC. Of course, it's made of my favorite materials: titanium, micarta and brass." By the way, the DWS is manufactured by Daily Customs in Hamburg. KnifeLounge Exclusive Backspacer for Sebenza 21/31 Fits the Sebenza 31 and 21 Small or Large Titanium Made by Daily Customs A nice backview.... The KLE Backspacer ensures that the back of your Sebenza gets a clean, closed surface, which is somewhat reminiscent of the look of a modern Slipjoint. Of course, the functionality of your knife does not change in any way. Of course, titanium is used here, whose surface is very similar to the handle scales of Chris Reeve knives. The Backspacer is manufactured exclusively for KnifeLounge by Daily Customs in Hamburg. Thus, the entire product, from design, to packaging, to the finished product is made entirely in Germany.  The KLE Backspacer fits both the current Sebenza 31 and its predecessor, the Sebenza 21. Of course, you can choose between the Large and the Small version for both versions.  If you want to install the Backspacer in your Sebenza 31, you will definitely need the matching body pin and screw kit from Chris Reeve, otherwise the Backspacer cannot be installed. While the blade stop on the Sebenza 21 is designed in such a way that you can continue to use the installed body pin, the body pin of the Sebenza 31 is completely replaced. Chris Reeve Knives does not produce, nor endorse this product. The use of this product can void the warranty of your knife.V2 - the second generation We have completely revised the backspacer, version 2 now has a milled chamfer, which prevents the blade from hitting the backspacer.

Böker Plus Haddock Pro KnifeLounge Exclusive KnifeLounge Exclusiv with Micarta handle scales  Limited edition of the Jens Anso design  Micarta handle scales and D2 steel blade The second step A knife that has accompanied our path for a long time is the Böker Haddock. This model - then still manufactured by Böker Manufaktur in Solingen - was one of the first more expensive pocket knives that we included in our program. Since then, the Haddock has appeared in countless versions and is now sold under the Böker Plus label. When considering which should be our second KnifeLounge Exclusive knife, the choice of the Haddock Pro was obvious, as we were completely convinced by the standard variant of this model designed by Jens Ansø. For the first time, this knife is now available for under 100,- Euro! The idiosyncratically shaped blade with the curved blade back and the nail nick reminds us a little bit of the beak of a bird, but proves to be extremely cutting-friendly due to the long drawn belly of the cutting edge. With a thickness of a full 5 mm, Böker has used a considerable piece of steel here and you could believe that this is more of a crowbar with a cutting bevel than a knife. The trick lies in the very far to the top flat grind, which was set in such a way that the blade runs out thinly to the cutting bevel. For the steel, we chose the very tough D2 tool steel. This steel is not only extremely resilient, but also takes on a very high sharpness. To protect the blade from flash rust, we advise you to clean your knife with a little oil every now and then. The handle, like the blade, bears the typical signature of Jens Ansø. Unlike its predecessor, the Haddock Pro now features a liner lock. For our KnifeLounge Exclusive version, we have chosen Micarta as the handle material. It was important to us to be able to offer our customers two color variations. So we have the knife once with brown Micarta and - matching our beloved Chesterfield armchair in our Knife Lounge - in a rich dark green. All in all, you are dealing with a knife that is both a piece of jewelry and a tool. Whether in your display case or in the pocket of your favorite pair of jeans, the Haddock Pro in the KnifeLounge Exclusive variant cuts a fine figure all around.           

Daily Knives AK1 Scales Cross Cut Ti – Knife Lounge Exclusive Your AK1 has been sitting on your desk for weeks. The blade does exactly what it should, the sheath sits on your waistband like it was made for it, and yet every time you reach for it, there’s that quiet feeling: there’s more to get out of this. That’s exactly what these titanium scales are for, milled with our Cross Cut pattern, a precise fit for the Daily Knives AK1 and available exclusively from us at Knife Lounge. A quick bit of context in case you’re just getting into this: the AK1 is a compact fixed blade for everyday use, designed by Alex Kremer and made by Böker in Solingen. The idea behind it comes from Daily Customs. The scales are screwed on and come off with a Torx key – the knife body stays, the look changes. Once you’ve done it, you’ll see your knife with different eyes. The Cross Cut pattern is a deep cross-hatch milling that runs across the entire scale. In the light it casts small shadows, and under your thumb you feel crisp edges – which give you more grip while you work than a smooth surface would, especially when your fingers are cold or damp. Titanium also adds a bit more weight to the handle than G10 or Micarta. That makes the AK1 sit more solidly in your hand, while it’s still a knife you’ll have forgotten is on your belt after an hour. If the pattern looks familiar: we also offer the Cross Cut milling on the 91 mm scales from Daily Customs for your Victorinox. Who invented it? The Swiss. Who milled it? Hamburg. So your pocket knife and your fixed blade can head out in matching outfits. Matchy-matchy? Absolutely. But on purpose. Important when ordering: you get the scales only. Blade and screws are not included – you simply reuse the screws from your current scales. With the right Torx, the swap takes a few minutes at the kitchen table. Is it worth it?
