Qualität!

Die Münze erreichte mich sehr gut verpackt und mit Wünschen der Silberwerkstatt. Ganz toll. Die Münze selbst hat eine feine Prägung und liegt gut in der Hand bei einem Gewicht von ca. 32 Gramm. Trage ich als EDC nun immer bei mir. Einzig der Preis ist etwas hoch.

Tolle Münze

Die Münze kommt gross und wuchtig und schwer daher..... Genauso wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe. Auch die Patina ist schön, obgleich ich beim nächsten mal lieber eine blanke Kupfer Münze nehmen würde um die selbst altern zu lassen. Dämlich, absolute Kaufempfehlung, schön finde ich auch das der Münze Erklärungen zu den aufgebrachten lateinischen Prägungen beiliegen.

Jim Wirth, founder of Carpe Diem EDC The skull on the face of the coin symobolizes death.The gear wheel on the stin of the skull is found in all mechanical watches and is a symbol of the passing of time. "Time passes" or "time flies" became more of a reality each day as Jim himself approached the age of 50."Death Waits" was his very real, if somber, reminder that at the end of all our days of life, there is only the certainty of death. On the back side of his original Carpe Diem coin was a simple message, "Carpe Diem," meaning "Seize the day" and "Make your life extraordinary." Make the most of every day you have! Work hard but also celebrate well. Do good for others who are not as fortunate as you. Be present in the lives of friends and family.
