Aux MFG Tsume Project Joker

Why so Serious?

The Aux MFG Tsume – Japanese for “claw” – is a compact fixed blade that belongs exactly where you need it: in your pocket. Handmade in the USA. Compact. Direct. No unnecessary extras.

And yes – it’s intentionally a fixed blade.
No lock. No mechanism to fiddle with. Just draw it and cut.

The hawkbill blade made from AEB-L is built for pull cuts. Opening packages, slicing cord, cutting zip ties – the curved edge bites into the material immediately. No slipping. No readjusting.

AEB-L is a perfect match here: fine-grained, tough, easy to resharpen. A steel that doesn’t show off – it simply performs.

The handle draws inspiration from traditional Japanese wrapping – but this version adds a dose of Joker energy.
Genuine green ray skin underneath a sealed purple cord wrap. The texture provides real grip, and the wrap feels surprisingly solid in hand. Not decorative. Functional. With character. And yes – it tends to put a slightly mischievous grin on your face.

It comes with a custom-fitted leather sheath with clip. Secure in your pocket. On your belt. In your bag. Small enough to disappear. Solid enough to stay exactly where it should.

Compact. Aggressive. Thought through.
The Tsume proves that a small fixed blade is often faster into action than any folder.

And that’s exactly what makes it so good.

Warning / Safety Notice:

Risk of cuts: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can easily penetrate skin and tissue.

Blade slippage: Improper handling or applying excessive force may cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements and potential injury.

Injuries from falling knives: Knives should never be left unsecured or placed near the edge of tables or work surfaces, as they may fall and cause injury.

Dull blades: Dull knives pose a higher risk of injury, as they require more force and are more likely to slip. Knives should therefore be sharpened regularly and properly.

Improper use: Using a knife for purposes other than its intended use (e.g. as a prying tool) can damage the blade and may result in accidents.
