The Vero Engineering Aura is the way into the Vero Engineering brand – at a price that’s otherwise unusual for a Vero Engineering knife. The aluminium handle scales with their velvety surface and the bold, industrial design show the typical Vero signature right away, even though aluminium takes the place of titanium here.
The blade in 14C28N is finely and thinly ground, which makes it a precise slicer rather than a coarse workhorse. You can have it either as a classic drop point (8.4 cm) or as a more modern talon with a sheepsfoot profile (8.1 cm). It opens via the thumb hole or the front flipper and is secured by a crossbar lock that snaps in precisely, with no play.
