This is Toni's work in its purest form. Extreme compound grinds, mirrored on both sides, by hand. A steel that reacts on purpose. A finish you can only get this way. This knife is for people who know what they're looking at.
1.2510 — Not Stainless, by Design
The blade is 1.2510 carbon steel, hardened to 61 HRC. Not stainless. That's the point: only a carbon steel develops this kind of natural two-tone finish — the ground bevels stay bright while the rest of the blade patinates dark. No coating, no trick. Steel that responds to use.
Important: the blade will discolour inside the leather sheath. This is normal for carbon steel and not a defect. We recommend storing the blade separately rather than leaving it in the sheath long-term.
Extreme Compound Grind
The blade geometry is the most complex Toni has produced in this series. Compound grind on both sides, mirrored exactly, entirely by hand. Anyone who knows how long that takes understands why this is a one-off. Blade length approx. 10.5 cm (4.1"), overall length approx. 21.5 cm (8.5").
Bocote
Bocote is a Mexican hardwood with a grain pattern unlike anything else: golden brown with near-black stripes and flecks. No two pieces the same. Toni faceted the handle on multiple planes — the flat sections are clearly defined, which gives the grip both character and control in hand.
The Sheath
Natural light leather, fully tooled border, TNT logo stamped centre. Made entirely by hand. The sheath will darken over time — the leather and the blade age together.
