Microtech Amphibian Tan G10

Old School Vibes, New School Power

Already crushing 1,000 burpees on your way to the coffee machine? BUD/S training felt more like pool time to you? And you're a sucker for '90s tactical design?

Then the Microtech Amphibian is made for you.

With its unmistakable retro look, this knife is a tribute to the golden era of tactical blades – but packed with all the modern tech you’d expect today. Whether you're on duty, out bushcrafting, or just want a rugged outdoor EDC: the Amphibian delivers.

RAM-LOK™ – Microtech’s Own Locking System

At its core is the RAM-LOK™ – Microtech’s take on the plunge lock, inspired by the Axis Lock (Benchmade) and Ball Bearing Lock (Spyderco). It's incredibly smooth, rock-solid, and built with serious hardware.

A Blade with Character

The blade features a bold recurve, a thin grind, and offers impressive cutting performance, especially for pull cuts.

Choose it with or without serrations – your call.

For that extra tactical vibe, you can opt for a DLC coating combined with satin flats.

It’s made from M390MK – a specially modified version of Böhler’s trusted steel, developed for Microtech with enhanced toughness, excellent edge retention, and high corrosion resistance.

Grip & Details

The milled G10 handle scales give you a secure grip, while the deep-carry clip and lanyard hole round out the setup.

A great little touch: those chunky Torx screws – so you won’t have to mess around with tiny bit drivers and stripped heads.

Conclusion

Sure, the Amphibian looks like it came straight out of a 1998 action flick –
but under the hood, it's cutting-edge, high-performance gear.
