Exclusively available at Knife Lounge, each tag is handcrafted in our Altonaer Silberwerkstatt workshop. No mass production. No interchangeable goods. Just honest, traditional craftsmanship from Hamburg.

Each Dock Tag is hand-hammered, giving it its distinctive hammered finish. The result is a vibrant surface full of depth, reflections, and subtle imperfections. That’s exactly why no two tags are ever alike.

And now it gets delightfully nerdy:
Every silversmith carries a unique signature style — like a fingerprint in metal. So you’re not just wearing a tag, but a small piece of handcrafted art with real personality.

The name is no coincidence.
The Dock Tag is our tribute to Hamburg’s historic docks — shipyards, cranes, and the raw character of the harbor. Places where metal has been worked for centuries and where things are built to last.

This honest industrial aesthetic is exactly what the tag reflects:
minimal • rugged • nordic honest

The Dock Tag is available in your choice of:

• Aged Brass
• Silver-Plated Brass

Both versions develop an individual patina over time. They age with dignity — and eventually tell your personal story.

Subtle on the front:
the small Knife Lounge logo, stamped as a mark of origin.

The back remains intentionally clean and can be customized with an engraving — perfect for initials, dates, or small insider messages.

The shape is inspired by classic dog tags. Originally used as military identification tags, they later became iconic through movies and pop culture — symbols of personality, individuality, and a slightly rebellious character.

Our Dock Tag translates this idea into northern German EDC jewelry with soul.

And don’t worry:
You don’t have to wear it around your neck (brass may slightly stain depending on skin chemistry). It also looks great attached to your keychain.

Each Dock Tag comes ready to wear with a sturdy 3 mm leather cord.
