The new big one
Finally a new fixed blade from GiantMouse. After the GMF 2 with its half raised sabre grind already caused a lot of attention, there is now a revised version with a full flat grind.The flattened blade geometry has improved the cutting performance once again without the knife losing any of its substantial toughness.
What remains is the fantastic hand position. The handle with its blasted Micarta scales rests comfortably in the hand and enables you to work for a long time without any hotspots.
The tapered blade has a particular upwards sweep, which is nicely underlined by the slanted Ricasso. The jimping on the spine of the blade has been placed in such a way that you can transfer a lot of force to the blade with your thumb and at the same time guide the knife safely. The very rust-resistant Böhler M390 steel keeps a sharp edge for a long period of time and is still ready for use even after extensive cutting work.
A dangler was added to the handmade leather sheath. Now the knife can be carried even better on the belt. With this combination you get a real workhorse of a knife, which feels most comfortable on hikes or in the forest.
