Deadman Design Elixir – an EDC folder that simply delivers
Looking for an EDC that doesn’t just look good but actually proves itself in daily use? Take a closer look at the Deadman Design Elixir. No showpiece, no marketing circus – just a smartly designed tool. The Elixir was born from a successful Kickstarter campaign, backed by people who truly use their EDC.
Compound ground blade: strong at the front, fine at the back
The compound ground blade combines strength and cutting performance in a very practical way. The front features a robust flat grind for tougher tasks, while the rear section with hollow grind excels at clean, controlled cuts.
The forward finger notch moves your finger closer to the cutting edge, giving you noticeably more control when precision really matters.
CPM MagnaCut – because it makes sense here
The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut: exceptionally well-balanced, corrosion resistant, and with excellent edge retention. Not because it’s trendy – but because it’s the right steel for this kind of EDC.
Titanium throughout
The ergonomically shaped titanium handle sits comfortably in the hand, and all hardware is titanium as well. Lightweight, strong, and built to handle everyday use. Completing the package is a milled titanium pocket clip with hidden screw, riding discreetly in the pocket and keeping the overall design clean and understated.
Manufactured by Reate
The Elixir is manufactured by Reate, one of the most respected knife manufacturers in the world. Known for precise execution, tight tolerances, and a level of fit and finish that truly stands in its own league.

Warning / Safety Notice:
Risk of cuts: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can easily penetrate skin and tissue.
Blade slippage: Improper handling or applying excessive force may cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements and potential injury.
Injuries from falling knives: Knives should never be left unsecured or placed near the edge of tables or work surfaces, as they may fall and cause injury.
Dull blades: Dull knives pose a higher risk of injury, as they require more force and are more likely to slip. Knives should therefore be sharpened regularly and properly.
Improper use: Using a knife for purposes other than its intended use (e.g. as a prying tool) can damage the blade and may result in accidents.
