Just past one in the morning at the pub around the corner. The lights are dimming, the owner's already stacking chairs. On the bar, between two beer coasters, a small logo glows quietly. Look closer and you'll recognize our Knife Lounge emblem, set into a Don't Worry Stone that clearly isn't ready to call it a night.
What you're looking at is a special edition Inlay for the Don't Worry Stone by Crowgear. A quick refresher for anyone new here: Paul Berndt, the man behind Crowgear, married the classic worry stone with a bottle opener. It's a flat little handheld piece for restless fingers. He designed it modular from day one. The Body is always titanium, while Frame and Inlay are yours to put together yourself. The DWS is made at Daily Customs in Hamburg.
This Inlay is made of Micarta, and the logo on it glows in the dark. During the day it soaks up light, under your desk lamp or by the window, and gives it back once it's dark. Handy when your EDC is sitting on the nightstand at night. Or when you're fumbling around your tent for the thing you used to open a beer earlier.
With the Micarta you can choose between Green and Black. Or go with Natural, the light material darkens over time and picks up the marks of your pocket the way other people collect passport stamps.
At 44 × 24 × 3 mm, the Inlay fits the regular Don't Worry Stone just as well as the DWS Slim. It ships on its own, without Body and Frame. If you already have a DWS and want to give it an upgrade with a bit of home-port stamp, this is for you. Everyone else grabs the Stone first and the Inlay after. Or both at once, we're not judging.
The DWS keeps opening bottles and keeps calming fingers. You'll just be able to find it past one in the morning now too. Don't worry, it glows.
