Sascha Bisley
Sascha Bisley, born in 1973, grew up in the Sauerland region and now calls the Ruhr area home. He's lived and worked in Dortmund since 2004 as a filmmaker, author, and producer. Germany's TAZ newspaper once called him the „Currywurst Bukowski“ – and once you read his writing, you'll understand why. He hosted the documentary series Szene Deutschland for German public broadcaster ZDF, was nominated for the Grimme Award in 2017, and today works, among other things, with inmates at a prison where he himself once served time. On the side, he runs a video production company in the heart of Dortmund – and, naturally, carries his knife with him every single day.
