Nerd Knife
When Ostap Hel is in the game, things get exciting. If you've been following us for a while or even listening to our podcast, you may have noticed that we are absolute fans of Ostap's designs. So it was clear that the Ki-V definitely had to come into our program.
Here you get an EDC pocket knife that is truly a mini EDC. The Ki-V is Ostap Hel's first collaboration with Civivi and is intended as a small office pocket knife for the lightest everyday cutting tasks. The lack of a lock also makes it portable almost anywhere, so you should basically never have a problem with this little pocket knife. The design of the knife is based on the classic Kiridashi knives of Japan and features a highly modern look despite the historical background. To prevent the blade from simply falling back when open, a liner with your detent ball presses down on the blade root, creating a sort of flip-joint mechanism. The front flipper and ball bearings make for a lot of fun in the office and annoyed colleagues. For the blade steel, Civivi relies on the proven 9CR18MOV, which can be easily resharpened and is extremely rust-resistant. The handle is made out of natural g10.
The story behind the name of the model is interesting: The Ki stands for "Kiridashi" while the V alludes to the many, V-shaped angles of the knife. By the way, the knife is pronounced "Kiwi", which together with the manufacturer's name makes for a funny combination with quite a few Is. By the way, Ostap Hel got the idea for the name while playing Cyberpunk 2077 - here, one of the main characters is simply called "V".
So if you're looking for a cool nerd knife or need something very compact for the office, the KI-V from Civi would definitely be worth considering.

Alles gut - wie immer. LG
Nettes Spielzeug. Bin zwar zu ungeschickt, es flüssig einhändig zu öffnen, aber war eh als Geschenk für meine Freundin Kiwi gedacht.

Sehr schönes EDC
Das Civivi KI-V Natural G10 ist ein sehr kleines aber dennoch giftiges kleines Messer, passt leicht in jede Tasche. Definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung!
