Daedalus Knife Co. DKC-L1 Lab Front Flipper Justin Lundquist (Justin Lundquist Designs) and Evan Nicolaides (Esynx Knives) DesignAluminum handleClipPoint blade made of 154CM with Belt Satin or Black Stonewash finish The L1 Lab from Daedalus Knife Co. is the first knife from the joint brand of Justin Lundquist and Evan Nicolaides. For this debut, the two have reinterpreted an absolute classic of the knife world: the Remington 1306. This traditional knife is highly sought after among collectors and finding an original copy is not easy at all.The Lab (the name alludes to the labyrinth of King Minos) is basically a highly modern adaptation of the Remington. The handle is particularly striking, with the characteristic grip recesses and the curved handle end having been adopted. Instead of bone or horn, the Lab uses handle scales made of textured aluminum, whose grippy surface is a real experience. You also have a choice of six different color options. The clip point blade made of 154CM steel (incidentally Bob Loveless' favorite steel) has been given a belt satin finish, which gives the knife a modern touch. The long fuller and front flipper are typical of Justin Lundquist. The sturdy linerlock ensures the necessary safety when working. By the way, you don't necessarily have to open this knife with both hands: The discreet front flipper not only blends seamlessly into the design, but also offers a lot of fun.

M390 steel blade with hollow grind
Integrated bottle opener in the blade tang

non lockable & with double detent
Variants:
green Micarta handle & stonewashed blade finish.
orange G10 handle & black DLC coated blade
purple anodized Aluminum handle & satin blade finish
Small but mighty!
The Gnat-S XL is a typical Justin Koch design. Simply different!
The compact handle of the Gnat-S XL offers you space for two to three fingers (depending on the size of your hand). Embedded in the handle scales (choice of Micarta, orange G10 or Purple Aluminum) are two liners that press down on the blade root with two locking springs and snap tightly into place when closed or open. This creates enough retention force for the blade to be held but not locked, so the knife is 42a compliant.
The star of the show is clearly the hollow ground blade made of M390 steel: the thin tapered edge provides a lot of cutting pleasure. When closed, you will find a small hook under the lever at the root of the blade: so the Gnat-S XL can also be used as a cap lifter for an after-work beer.

The Rekluse S brings more factors under one hat than you might think at first. This Justin Koch design not only looks extravagant (like all Koch designs) but is also a super versatile companion.
This slipjoint is a real workhorse that you can carry with you without hesitation, thanks to the pocket clip.
The star of the show is, of course, the compound grind of the blade: while the rear portion has been kept extra sturdy, the front two-thirds have been deliberately ground thinner to create a really nasty point. Your thumb fits comfortably on the thumb ramp, so you can work with your Rekluse S very safely.
For the handle scales you have the choice between Micarta, G10 and aluminum.

The Copita is a Framelock flipper, but it was designed specifically for use in an urban environment. The knife may be really compact - but that does not detract from its use. Thanks to the elegantly curved belly of the blade, you still have a maximum of cutting power on only 5.7cm blade length.
Otherwise, the Copita is a typical Voxnaes design: despite the overall somewhat squat shape, this little rattle radiates that typical elegance that is typical of Jesper's designs. A real highlight are the decorations of the screw collars: here was worked with great attention to detail.
In total you have the choice between three different variants:
- Micarta Natural/ Satin Finish blade- Green Micarta/ Stonewash blade- Titanium handle scales/ Satin Finish blade
The frame side is milled out of titanium on all four versions. Of course the Copita comes with all the features that such a flipper must have: Ball bearings, M390 steel, steel insert, optically matching backspacers and a super modern design.
