Benchmade Dacian

Modern. Compact. And the American Made Fixed of the Year.

The Dacian is currently Benchmade’s most popular fixed blade – and for good reason. The blue Micarta version was awarded “American Made Fixed Blade of the Year” at Blade Show Atlanta 2025.

This version, the 203BK-02, pairs a MagnaCut blade with a black Cerakote finish and rugged black canvas Micarta scales – fully blacked-out, low-profile in looks, and uncompromising in performance. The spear point blade offers versatility, control, and a geometry that works just as well in everyday tasks as it does in tougher outdoor use.

New to this version is a leather scout carry sheath with a Boltaron® retention insert. The knife carries securely, comfortably – whether on your belt or tucked discreetly in your pocket.

As always, the Dacian is proudly made in Benchmade’s factory in Oregon City, USA. Each blade is laser cut, ground, hand-assembled, and sharpened with over 30 years of manufacturing experience behind it.

Conclusion: A true pocket fixed blade for those who want compact Benchmade quality – with zero compromises.

Warning / Safety Notice:

Risk of cuts: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can easily penetrate skin and tissue.

Blade slippage: Improper handling or applying excessive force may cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements and potential injury.

Injuries from falling knives: Knives should never be left unsecured or placed near the edge of tables or work surfaces, as they may fall and cause injury.

Dull blades: Dull knives pose a higher risk of injury, as they require more force and are more likely to slip. Knives should therefore be sharpened regularly and properly.

Improper use: Using a knife for purposes other than its intended use (e.g. as a prying tool) can damage the blade and may result in accidents.
