Zero Tolerance prove with the 0762 that they still have the claim to build the best series knives in the world. In fact, this claim is not unjustified - the 0762 is simply impressively constructed.

First, there's the handle, which is made entirely of lightweight but ultra-tough carbon fiber. Embedded in the handle scales you will find blue anodized titanium liners, which are even visible through a milled out window in the carbon fiber. A secure lock is provided by the ZT-typical sub-framelock, which looks like a liner lock at first glance, but has all the features of a frame lock - of course including a steel insert in the lock interface to prevent wear and make your 0762 as durable as possible. Of course, the titanium lockbar as well as the clip is anodized in the typical ZT blue to bring a little color into the game.

Let's start with the ball bearing first. Zero Tolerance has always relied on their own KVT ball-bearing system, which allows the balls of the bearing to move freely in a sort of cage. This adds up to a wonderfully smooth and nimble action of the knife over time.

The TDS is another clever invention from Zero Tolerance: it is often the case with narrow or flat knives that you accidentally press the lockbar when opening. The result is that the knife simply does not want to flip open. ZT now solve this problem with their True Detent System, which uses a second detent ball and a spring to balance the external pressure on the lockbar and thus guarantees a wonderful action. Not only the handle of the 0762 has a unique design - also the blade is cleverly designed. What looks like a continuous sweep at first glance turns out to be a kind of kink in the cutting edge, which not only looks cool in detail but is also very practical.
