Chris Reeve Inkosi Micarta Black Glass BlastedPremium Glass Blasted Finish with black micarta inlaysChris Reeve is known for the classic, the Sebenza, but the Inkosi is the brand's next evolutionary leap and definitely an eye-catcher! At first glance it may resemble the Sebenza 21, but on closer inspection it turns out to be an advanced and distinct masterpiece!Excellent Design & Advanced TechnologyThanks to two concise finger recesses on the handle, you'll have more control and confidence when working with the knife.
Improved lock: the Integral Lock invented by Chris Reeve has been further improved in the Inkosi, so that wear of the titanium is avoided.
Novel Grind: The Inkosi comes with a "Large Hollow Grind," a blend of hollow and flat grinds that provides more edge stability.Glass Blasted vs SandblastedWondering what the difference is between Glass Blasted and Sandblasted? The Glass Blasted finish uses crushed glass, resulting in a finer, tighter grain that is extremely scratch resistant and smooth, but still retains its grip. Sandblasted, on the other hand, uses sand to create an extra grippy finish that ages with character.Stable & ReliableWith its oversized blade axis and huge bronze washers, the Inkosi is designed to be extremely stable. So you can use it for really tough cutting tasks without any worries! The Chris Reeve Inkosi Micarta Black with the classy Glass Blasted finish is a super addition to your knife collection and a sturdy tool for all situations.
RGT Clip for Chris Reeve Knives
Replacement Clips (clip only) for CRK knives. Fits most models.
Blasted clips are very similar but not perfect to CRK stock finish. Please look at the pics before ordering.
Clips may need to be slightly hand bent to make sure the clips touch the lock-bar. Go slow as to not "kink" the clip.
Spyderco Kapara
slim EDC pocket knife with compression lock
Design by Alistair Philips
Carbon fiber handle and CPM S30V blade
Foldable kitchen helperThe Spyderco Kapara is a design by Australian knifemaker and designer Alistair Phillips. The idea behind this slim clunker was to build a knife that was a good EDC size on the one hand, but also cut really well and could be used primarily in the kitchen.
While Phillips is by no means a vegetarian, he had primarily cutting fruits and vegetables in mind when designing the Kapara. This consideration pays off completely: first of all, there is the slim but nevertheless very well in hand handle with a 3D milled carbon scales. Accessible on the back of the handle sits Spyderco's famous Compression Lock closure, which is considered one of the safest locking systems around and is very easy to use thanks to its position. In reference to the red-backed spider (Kapara Spider) native to Australia, the knife was given a red backspacer made of G10, which makes for a visual eye-catcher.
The blade is - typical for Spyderco - made of CPM-S30V steel, which is not only very resistant to rust and fruit acid, but also keeps the sharpness for a long time. So that the knife is easy to clean, a grippy jimping was deliberately omitted. Instead of ball bearings, phosphor bronze washers were installed for the same reason, which are also very easy to clean. A small feature is that the Kapara is equipped with a bushingsystem, similar to the Chris Reeve Sebenza. Here, the blade does not just run on an axle, but on a bushing, which provides for an improved and smoother blade run.
The fully raised flat grind provides excellent cutting properties that ensure effortless work, not only in the kitchen. Spyderco and Alistair Phillips have delivered here together with the manufacturing plant in Taiwan an incredibly good, very high quality pocket knife, which knows how to fully convince in everyday use. Thanks to the convertible wire clip, the 96 gram knife disappears discreetly in the pocket and thus hardly wears on.
RGT Kapara Titanium Handle ScalesGive your Spyderco Kapara, one of the most popular knives in recent Spyderco history, a fresh look and improved handling. RGT (Ripp's Garage Tech) offers you the opportunity to further enhance this already outstanding knife with titanium handle scales from the USA.Material and finish: The handle scales are milled from titanium and have an attractive stonewashed look.Lightweight construction: The handle scales are milled out on the back to save weight as "Featherweight".Clip position: The clip position is designed for right-handed users (RHTU - Right Hand Tip Up).Backspacer: In keeping with the overall design, the backspacer is also made of titanium and has the same stonewashed finish. The slightly higher weight makes the knife feel fuller in the hand, which many find to be an advantage.
Daedalus Knife Co. DKC-L1 Lab Front Flipper Justin Lundquist (Justin Lundquist Designs) and Evan Nicolaides (Esynx Knives) DesignAluminum handleClipPoint blade made of 154CM with Belt Satin or Black Stonewash finish The L1 Lab from Daedalus Knife Co. is the first knife from the joint brand of Justin Lundquist and Evan Nicolaides. For this debut, the two have reinterpreted an absolute classic of the knife world: the Remington 1306. This traditional knife is highly sought after among collectors and finding an original copy is not easy at all.The Lab (the name alludes to the labyrinth of King Minos) is basically a highly modern adaptation of the Remington. The handle is particularly striking, with the characteristic grip recesses and the curved handle end having been adopted. Instead of bone or horn, the Lab uses handle scales made of textured aluminum, whose grippy surface is a real experience. You also have a choice of six different color options. The clip point blade made of 154CM steel (incidentally Bob Loveless' favorite steel) has been given a belt satin finish, which gives the knife a modern touch. The long fuller and front flipper are typical of Justin Lundquist. The sturdy linerlock ensures the necessary safety when working. By the way, you don't necessarily have to open this knife with both hands: The discreet front flipper not only blends seamlessly into the design, but also offers a lot of fun.
