Reverse Tanto blade with a stonewashed blade made of CPM Magnacut SteelButton lock flipperAlready a classic Summer, sun, dream beach. Malibu, after all! I don't know what prompted ProTech to name this knife after one of the most famous regions in the USA. Nevertheless, this is one of the best modern EDC knives currently available.
The overall line is incredibly harmonious and the handling is extremely good.
Unlike many other ProTech knives, this one is a manual flipper. A light press on the flipper tab and the blade shoots out of the handle - without any spring support. You can unlock the Malibu with a light press on the button lock. Thanks to the ball bearings, this knife offers very smooth blade movement.
The Malibu is available in the All-Black-Everything version with a Wharncliffe blade.

The small version of the Slim
The EDC Cleaver
Don't be fooled by the name of this knife – this is a small pocket knife. With the Mini Slim model, Matt Westberg has released a more compact version of the larger SLIM that really packs a punch. Incidentally, the small series runs are manufactured by REATE.Even when closed, it is clear that we are not dealing with an ordinary pocket knife. The silhouette already suggests the wide blade. When you open the Mini Slim, you will see a blade shape that is rarely seen in pocket knives. This cleaver shape is clearly inspired by meat cleavers, which are used primarily by butchers. The wide blade with its sturdy spine is ideal for chopping. Thanks to the high grind, the cutting edge can still be extremely fine, which in turn ensures impressive cutting performance. Thanks to the thumb hole and ceramic ball bearings, the massive blade can butter-soft, and the liner lock engages with a reassuring “click”.The overall look of the Mini Slim has been kept deliberately clean by Bergblades. You'll only find the serial number and limited edition on the inside of the titanium backspacer.

Each piece is predominantly handcrafted by founder Michael Jarvis with the utmost care and attention to detail.
The robust blade made of rust-resistant, 5 mm thick AEB-L steel, hardened to an impressive 61.5 HRC, offers outstanding edge retention and reliability, even under heavy use. Thanks to the fine carbides, AEB-L is incredibly sharp. No wonder: this steel was originally used to make straight razors. The Coffin Fixed comes with a custom-fit Boltaron sheath with belt clip, which is suitable for both right- and left-handed users and ensures safe storage.
The handle is a real highlight: you can choose between the modern rock pattern in black G10 or the unique combination of stingray skin and epoxy-coated cord winding. Both options not only ensure a secure grip, but also give the knives in the Coffin series a distinctive look.
